    God has a better

    plan for us.

    Matsui's rice field and

    garden failed to

    produce crops.

    He abandoned his field

    and solved his problems

by using paintingmaterials in his godown

    to sell pictures.

    While Matsui was

    busy on his painting ,

    a stranger arrived

and told him that heshall see the spot

    where the SevenGods of Happiness

    left their mark .

From a single piece of irisflower his field became a

    wonderful plantation. It

became a source of living forhim . And he was able to

    understand the words stated

    by the stranger.

Matsui was able to seethe spot where the Gods

    left their mark. A lovely

    blue iris flower grew

    from his ruined field.

    2.

What did he do to solve his problem? What does it say of him?

    Excellent answer. Since Matusi cannot

venture or business. He went to theirgodown or storehouse and he found

few painting materials used by hisgrandfather. He painted pictures then

he sold some of it. But he has so littlepainting skill so eventhough he had

good ideas to paint he only painted

simple pictures and he only sold three.

This actions showed that Matsui has apositive attitude, he never give up

although he has big problems. He isstill very patient and willing to take

    risks.

    3. Who do you think, was the stranger

who visited Matsui? What did he tell

Very good answer. One day Matsuiwas very busy painting pictures, when

Matsui told the stranger that it seems

that the Gods forgot to bless his spot. But he is trying his best to see what

can be done and he said that he willnever give up hope.

The statement of the stranger reveals

He decided to see what can be done in theirgodown. He found painting materials and he

painted simple pictures . Then he sold it.His action reveals that he is very optimistic,

    patient and creative man.

These shows that Matsui is a patient, industrious and optimistic.

The stranger who visited Matsui is one of the

Seven Gods of Happiness because he has

    suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

The stranger told Matsui the following

statements, the Seven Gods of Happinessalways leave their mark, but some men are

not quick to see it. Because of your patienceyou shall see the Touch of Happiness they

gave here, for they left no spot forgotten.
