1. How do I Register in Portal?
Go to the URL :- http://employment.gujarat.gov.in/
The following homepage will open.(A)

Click on “EMPLOYERS” Submenu as below:
Employer Login Page will open up as below (A)
You can login by entering email (A) and password (B). If you want to create new Employer, click on “New Employer” (C)

New Employer Creation
Click on “New Employer Creation” You will find below page of “Employer Registration” (A) from where you can create new
Employer.
There are 3 types of Employer Registration:
I. State Employer
II. Other State Employer

III. Government Employer
I. State Employer:
Enter Registration details as below:
Once you click on the verification link in the email, you will be registered with DET.
Once you are registered with DET, your account will be verified by Exchange.
Once Exchange verifies your account, you will receive an email with your username and
password.
You can login by that username and password.
Once you login, you will see below screen:
If you have already account then you can direct login with your username/password as
below page.
2. How do I login to the portal?
Go to the URL :- http://employment.gujarat.gov.in/login.aspx
Enter Email (A) and password (B), click on “Login” button and you will be redirected to Employer Dashboard.
3. Access to Employer profile
Once you log in the System, you can access your Employer Profile as below. (A) Click on “Edit Profile” (B)

Once you click on “Edit Profile”, you will have following edit page where you will be able to edit your profile.
Once you edit the profile, click on “Update” (A), so that your updated profile will be stores in database.

4. View Vacancy
Click on “VIEW VACANCY”. (A)
Once you click on “VIEW VACANCY”, following page will open up which will show all the

vacancy notified by that employer.
Once you click on ‘Notify Vacancy’, you should be redirected to page as shown in following
screen. This page allows employer to notify the vacancy by providing information shown in
following screen:
Once you click on “Save”, vacany will be notified.
You can also view Vacacny Notification Details as following and can generate report as well.
5. View Submission
Click on “VIEW Submission”. (A) Following screen will open up
By clicking on ‘VIEW’ action, you will be redirected to detail page as shown in following screen
where proposed candidates are displayed.
By clicking on ‘Download Submission List’, you can download the same.

6. Schedule Interview
Click on “SCHEDULE INTERVIEW”. (A)

Job-Fair flow
Once Employer clicks on “SCHEDULE INTERVIEW”, he can view following page:
Once Employer ticks on Candidates Checkbox and clicks on “Next”, it will show following page
stating that whether you want to do Job fair or not.
If you are interested in Job fair, click on “Yes” Radio button.
Then, once you click on “Finish”, it will show following page stating that “Vacancy has been
submitted successfully for Job Fair”.
Once you click on “OK”, you will be redirected to the following page:
Personal Interview Flow:
Once you click on “Schedule Interview”, you can view following page:
Once you tick on Candidates Checkbox and clicks on “Next”, it will show following page stating
that whether you want to do Job fair or not.
If you are not interested in Job fair, click on “No” Radio button.
Then, you will see below page:
Once you fill up the details, you can see below page:
Once you click on “Finish”, it will show following page stating that “Vacancy scheduled
successfully”.
7. Submit Result Taking into consideration the Job fair, once Exchange schedules the Job Fair Date and Location,
employer will take interview of those candidates on specific date and location. Taking into consideration the personal interview, you can directly take interview of candidates. After interview, you can submit the result after clicking in “SUBMIT RESULT”. (A)
Once you click on “SUBMIT RESULT” submenu, following page will pen up:

Once you click on “SUBMIT RESULT” for particular vacancy, following page will open up with
candidates’ name.
You can set action as “On Hold”, “Rejected”, “Not Reported”, “Not do sent”, “failed to Report”,
“Appointed”. (A)
You can also upload unregistered Candidates list.

When you select any action and clicks on “Submit”, you will see below page stating that Result
Submitted successfully.
When you click on “OK”, you will be redirected to following page which will indicate the primary
result for that vacancy candidates.
8. View Result Click on “VIEW RESULT”. (A)
After submitting the result, you can view result.
Click on “VIEW” for particular vacancy to view its result.

9. Unregistered Candidates You can also view Unregistered Candidates list by clicking on “UNREGISTERED CANDIDATES”. (A)
Click on “VIEW” for particular vacancy to view Unregistered Candidates list
There are no unregistered candidates for the selected vacancy.

10. Search Candidates You can also search Candidates list by clicking on “SEARCH CANDIDATES”. (A)
Select the district and enter education details to search candidates.

11. ER-1 Form Click on ER-1 Form (A)
Once you enter Year and Quarter Id, click on Search.

Click on “View” for any employer.
Click on “View ER-1 Report/Print”, you will be able to download report.
You can submit ER1 from here:
12. ER-2 Form Click on ER-2 Form (A)
You can search employer for whom the ER-2 is submitted by entering Employer Code, Name and
Year.
Click on Search
Click on “View” for any employer.

Click on “View ER-2 Report/Print”, you will be able to download report.
You can submit ER2 from here: (A)

Once you click on following page will open up:
Clicking on “Click to View Page No.2”, it will show following page:
Once you fill up above information and click on “Submit”, following pop up will open up.
13. Next Year Employment Click on NEXT YEAR EMPLOYMENT (A) You can view next year employment plan of any employer by clicking on “Search”. You can also submit Employment Plan.

14. Return 85 Form Click on RETURN 85 FORM (A) You can view all employers for whom the Return 85 is submitted by clicking on Search. Click on “Submit Return 85” to submit Return 85 form for any employer.
Click on “View” for any employer to see the details of Return 85.

Clicking on “View Report/Print”, you can download the Return 85 Report for that employer.
15. Search Candidates Click on Search Candidates (A)
You can find below page:

Fill up the information like District and Education.
Click on “Search”. You will find the candidates for that criteria.
Tick the Candidates whom you want to short list.
Click on “Short List”. You will find below pop up.
Once you click on “OK”, you will be redirected to Short Listed candidates page.
Clicking on Schedule, you will be redirected to below page:
If you want to go with Job Fair, click on “Yes” Radio button.
Click on “Finish”.
You will be redirected to “Short Lists” Page as below:
16. Short Lists Click on Short List You can view the shortlisted candidates by clicking on “VIEW” for any vacancy. You can also schedule the interview from here by clicking on “SCHEDULE”.
Schedule Personal Interview:
Click on “Next”. You can see below page:
You will have two options for scheduling interview:
Personal Interview
Virtual Interview
In Personal Interview, you have to add the venue address.
In Virtual Interview, you can take interview through Skype, Google Talk, etc.
Click on Finish.
17. Submit Short List Result Click on Search Submit Short List Result (A)
Once you click on “SUBMIT RESULT”, below screen will open up wherein you can put your
action.

Click on “Submit Result”. Following pop up will open up saying that “Results submitted
Successfully “.
You will be redirected to “Submit Result” Page where you can view the result by clicking on
“View result”.
18. Other State and Government Employer
I. Other State Employer:
Enter Registration details as below:
You will receive a confirmation email with your username/password to login.
Once you login with those username/password, you can see Employer Profile as
Other State Employer.
You can notify the vacancy by clicking on “Notify Vacancy“ (A)
Once you click on “Notify Vacancy”, following page will open up.

Fill up the Vacancy Notification Form and click on Save.
Following pop up will open up saying that Vacancy Notification has been successfully inserted.
Once your vacancy will be notified, HO will view and verify the same.
Once HO verifies, it will be forwarded to respective Exchange District.
Exchange will book the vacancy.
Once Exchange books it and generate submission, you can view the submission of
proposed candidates.
Now, the flow of the other state user will be as same as State employer. So, please
continue from Step 5 : “View Submission”
II. Government Employer:
Enter Registration details as below:
You will receive an email.
Exchange will verify your account and verify the same.
Once Exchange verifies your account, you will receive an email containing
username and password for your login.
Once you login with those username/password, you can see Employer Profile.
You are also able to edit your profile.
You can notify the vacancy.
Click on “Notify Vacancy” and fill up the Vacancy Notification Form as below:
Click on Save and following pop up with open up:
Your vacancy is notified.
Exchange can view your notified Vacancy.
Exchange will contact you offline for the remaining process.
