around the world: the dining and entertainment experiences at Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in

The Bahamas are as fabulously varied, exciting and multi-faceted as the resort and casino itself.

Atlantis Paradise Island is home to gourmet restaurants by several world-renowned chefs, and has

also welcomed several popular American-based franchises, including Starbuck’s and Jamba Juice.

Several superstar chefs with noted celebrity clientele have established Caribbean culinary

outposts at Atlantis Paradise Island, offering fine-dining options through the entire resort. Chefs,

influences to their distinctive cuisines to craft a unique dining experience for Atlantis Resort Guests.

Vacationing gourmands can satisfy their taste buds at Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s famed restaurant, Nobu,

through a glowing green archway, just off the Atlantis Casino floor. The restaurant's perennial popularity

and devoted following are a tribute to the Chef putting his own spin on traditional Japanese fare. A

large bar and entryway provide seating for dinner guests as well as those simply looking to relax with a

glass of wine or cocktail. In addition to two small-scale dining areas on either side of the main dining

space, the hidden “jewel” of Nobu is the sake cellar.

This intimate twelve-person dining area is located inside a domed tower, where resort guests can

enjoy dinner in a room lined with sake bottles and windows providing breathtaking views of Atlantis

Paradise Island’s marina. Over 700 bottles of Nobu’s exclusive sake adorn the walls and encase the diners.

Award-winning chef, television personality, cookbook author and restaurateur Bobby Flay brought the

vibrant Southwestern cuisine of his nationally-acclaimed Mesa Grill to The Cove Atlantis. Flay has

created unique dishes exclusive to The Cove including Bahamian Spiced Chicken Skewers with Yogurt

Lobster Tail with Red Chile-Coconut Sauce and Green Chile Rice and his take on Black Eyed Peas and

Rice. The restaurant is Flay’s first outside of the United States and features vistas directly onto the beach

and Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant was designed by famed interior architect, David Rockwell, who

incorporated a variety of materials including sea shell and copper, the signature accent of The Cove.

The epicurean delights at Atlantis Paradise Island extend to the resort’s Marina Village, where Chef

Jean-Georges Vongerichten recreated the legendary Café Martinique, originally made famous by its

appearance in the 1965 James Bond classic, Thunderball. The restaurant features a delectable

menu of Classic French gourmet fare for which Chef Vongerichten is known. Iconic elements

including a wrought-iron birdcage elevator, a dramatic mahogany staircase and elegantly etched

glass windows help to rekindle its much celebrated old-world ambiance.

In addition to the restaurants helmed by celebrity chefs, Atlantis Paradise Island’s dining options will

satisfy any vacationing connoisseur’s palate. Casa D’Angelo, helmed by Italian-born Chef Angelo Elia,

features traditional Tuscan dishes with Southern Italian accents. Chopstix features Chinese food, including

a dim sum menu. The Bahamian Club is a wonderful location for a celebratory meal in an elegant

environment.

The Café at the Great Hall of Waters sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. Located in the heart

of the Royal Towers majestic, towering lobby and overlooking the 2.3-million-gallon Ruins Lagoon,

which is home to giant manta rays and rainbows of tropical fish, this elaborate dining experience

can only be had at Atlantis. Seafire, a modern steakhouse located in Marina Village, offers an

extensive menu of delicious grilled meat, poultry and fish entrees in addition to its signature

dish—Spit Roasted Prime Rib. The high-pitched ceilings, large chandeliers and rustic brick wall

illuminated by amber glass in the dining room at Seafire create an elegant yet relaxed ambiance.

Marina Village, at Atlantis Paradise Island, features a 65,000 square-foot marketplace, boasting

superlative dining and world-class shopping all in one spectacular location. Situated around The

Marina at Atlantis, Marina Village resembles a quaint Bahamian marketplace, with three main

plazas each defined by their own sense of place and style. Colorful, paved walkways flanked by

lofty coconut trees, boldly painted buildings and lush vegetation, combine to create a spirited and

authentic Bahamian setting. Traditional Bahamian Junkanoo celebrations frequently snake their

way through this charming and vibrant bazaar, featuring 21 retail shops, as well as several distinct

dining venues. There is also a traditional butchery and wine market for Marina guests located at Seafire.

Diners looking for a thoroughly Bahamian experience will have their desires satisfied at Bimini Road.

Serving typical island fare, the restaurant offers a casual and festive dining experience, featuring colorful

Junkanoo décor and energetic live music on the outdoor deck. No Bahamian restaurant would be

complete without the centerpiece of Bimini Road, a conch bar serving fresh, local conch, prepared to

order.

The ever-popular New York institution, Carmine’s, offers vacationers classic Italian cuisine, served family

style on sumptuous platters meant to be shared. Diners are forewarned to leave room for dessert –

the Titanic, an ice cream laden chocolate torte, sure to leave the entire family satisfied and smiling.

Another option for resort guests at Marina Village is the New York-inspired Murray’s Delicatessen.

Serving traditional diner fare, Murray’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, including berry and

whipped cream topped pancakes and waffles, freshly sliced pastrami and corned beef and Matzo ball soup.
