The two simple steps of Hands-Only CPR are key to the survival of an adult or teen who suddenly collapses. • Dial 911• Immediate and continuous compressions in the

center of the chest until help arrives at a rate of 100 beats per minute. “Staying Alive” or “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”

1. Review Principles of Hands Only CPR focusing on the 3 steps

2. State the importance of bystander CPR and the ease of performance

3. Demonstrate the principles and do compressions on the manikin

4. Have student demonstrate steps and 30 seconds of CPR with instructor feedback

5. Answer questions and provide handouts
