• Traffic congestion occurs when a volume of
vehicles and people generates demand for
space greater than the available road
capacity. It is call ‘saturation’.
• Roads are overloaded with busses, cars,
trucks, bikes, pedestrian which creates
traffic jam.

• The condition of traffic is bad in Bangalore.
• Extreme congestion
• No proper planning for parking
• No provision for car parking and people park their
vehicles anywhere on the road.
• Traffic system is not proper
• Traffic timing of signals are not works properly
• The roads are in bad condition.
• The roads are very narrow

• Need wider roads
• Need some arrangement for 4 wheeler on the road
• Eliminates the 4 wheeler vehicle
• Digging roads at day time create traffic jam
problem.
• Preferred personal vehicles because public
transportation takes more time in the city.
• Need new technology for traffic signal
• Lots of junctions which consume more travel
time and fuel.
