Mountain Dew

Special purpose vehicle designed to promote mountain dew

soft drink .mountain Dew has promoted movie transformers-

2 and their campaign “Transform Your summer’ has taken

as a concept

Designed to attract youth mainly. Muscular looks and off-

road qualities of vehicle are maintained

Vehicle based on MAHINDRA CLASSIC platform.

Aftermarket Parts and off road equipments are added so

that vehicle can reach out city limits and go to the events like

motocross rally racing for promotion.

Heliotropism

Sunflowers in the bud stage exhibit heliotropism. At sunrise, the

faces of most sunflowers are turned towards the east. Over the

course of the day, they follow the sun from east to west, while at

night they return to an eastward orientation. This motion is

performed by motor cells in the pulvinus, a flexible segment of

the stem just below the bud.

Sunflowers in the blooming stage are not heliotropic anymore.

The stem has frozen, typically in an eastward orientation. The stem

and leaves lose their green color. The wild sunflower typically does

not turn toward the sun; its flowering heads may face many

directions when mature. However, the leaves typically exhibit

some heliotropism.

Product Concept

Based on concept of Heliotropism concept has taken that

product should respond to the sun .

Sunlight can be converted into electricity using photovoltaics and

various experimental technologies. PV has mainly been used to

power small and medium-sized applications, from

the calculator powered by a single solar cell to off-grid homes

powered by a photovoltaic array

A photovoltaic-powered solar device which will collect the solar

energy and store it for purpose of charging small devices like

phones,mp3 players on the go.

A photovoltaic-powered solar Charger

Product geometry based on the Fibonacci spiral

The charger opens up into three sections like the blades of a

fan

an internal battery which can be charged either by the sun or

via a wall socket. It offers a green alternative for powering

gadgets on the go . Need direct exposer to the sun.

it provides better usability, protection. Very physible for short

distances as well as long distances with several drop points.
