The 2008 Summer Workshop: Design and creation of tutorials, is based on the views of the learning and teaching process of David H. Jonassen, Seymour Papert and RogerSchank:
a. "The support technologies must provide to the learning process is not to attemptthe instruction of students but, rather, to serve as tools for knowledgeconstruction for students to learn with them, not them" 1

b. "... the best learning will not come from finding the best ways for the teacher toinstruct, but to give students the best opportunities to construct " 2
c. “Learning by doing”
Moreover, this workshop is aimed to professors and for that reason we took intoconsideration the statements of andragogy, the science that studies the planning, implementation and evaluation of educational interventions with adults. According to thisview of education, the adult:
a. worries about the context in which we train, the prevailing mood, motivations andneeds of participants, their prior knowledge, cognitive skills and cognitive styles.
b. takes into account the interaction with peers.
c. personal and situational factors in adults, which should be taken into accountwhen designing educational instruction.
