PSOPresented ByDanish Obaid
Project CharterTitle: Design Firefighting system for oil installation of Pakistan State OilCompany: Pakistan State OilFacilitator: Health, Safety & Environment Department
Project Need:Pakistan State Oil is the largest oil marketing company of Pakistan having huge infrastructure for storing petroleum products. The storage facilities are protected by firefighting system. Consultants are usually approached to design these systems for PSO who charge handsome amount for the activity. HSE department took initiative to do the same job through internal resources so as to save the money for the company.
In-Scope Out-Scope· Petroleum products (HSD, PMG)
· Heat Flux Modeling· Calculation of foam requirements· Calculation of water requirements· Calculation of GPM of fire pump· Hydraulic Analysis based on NFPA requirementsEstimated Time: Two month Estimated Cost: PKR 630,000/-
