In Taiwan, a country renowned for its clamorous political culture with two major competitive parties, you could often hear someone convene all reporters for an election announcement or a disclosure of one’s scandal to attack opponents. During election season, you, in particular, could severely perceive the effervescent atmosphere that a diversity of parties and pressure groups hold multifarious political campaigns and suppers for support.

The most impressive political celebration I have ever seen would be political music concert, featuring a great many stars and celebrities performing on the stage as passionately as they could to do their ideal candidates a favor – winning more voters. This unprecedented political campaign mainly put its aim on the youth’s ballots and forged an accessible image toward the folks. From this performance, the politics could be more than politics. It could be in a familiar way to take part in, not just a riotously critical activity but a harmonious vigorous party.

The last night before election, each candidate would always hold a magnificent political assembly in stadium, crawling with supporters to raise the spirit for their chosen one. You could behold numerous folks shaking their flags, chanting the slogans, and striding along the roads for their choice fanatically until midnight.

On the election day after casting their consecrated ballots into the boxes, most of the people would converge in front of the electoral headquarters gazing at the huge screen with the running figures. At the electoral result came out, you had better await on your balcony, appreciating the gorgeous sparkling fireworks show over the skyline coupled with the victorious yelling across the nation.

Most people might be tired of political events leading to more conflicts in the society. However, toward Taiwanese, the politics celebration event symbolizes a celebration to change, a celebration to get another success of democracy, and a celebration to make a better policy to offer more care and benefits for more prosperity of this country.
