Definition
Depression-
An act of depressing
A state of being depressed as sad
A person has no hope
Signs and Symptoms
I. People have no interest in activities:
Hobbies
Past-times
Social activities
II. Person feels alone and there is no point in living:
Never get better
Feels situation will not improve
III. Anger:
Somebody gets on another person’s nerves.
Person becomes violent when someone keeps abusing that person.
Some person has a bad temper that can get out of control quickly, no patience.
Effects on Lifestyle
Slow speech & slow movements:
Person can’t remember the right words they were just thinking they become forgetful. Also person has no energy.
Insomnia (can’t sleep) or Not enough a sleep:
A person doesn’t sleep well and sleeps too long.
Thoughts of suicide or death:
A person may obsess (think often) about killing himself or herself.

Chat with psychologist can help person feel better.

A person may not want to share private information.
Medication:

Medicine can sometimes improve mood.

Medicine side effect can make person want to kill himself or herself.

Learn to deal with the illness.
