1. This Office is hereby disseminating the communication from College ofEducation of the University of Visayas about the Regional ResearchConference with the theme "Strengthening and Sustaining ResearchCulture in Education" on August 23, 2019 to be held at the lnday TeresingHall, University of the Visayas, Colon Street Corner D. Jakosalem Street, CebuCity.

Greetings!
The University of the Visayas is curently celebrating its centennial year. We therefore wish touphold our vision-mission statement wherein we aim to become a research-driven institution thatis geared towards the development of human capital imbued with social conscientiousness.
In line with this vision, we are writing this letter to humbly inform you that the College ofEducation of the University of the Visayas will be conducting a regioi)a] research conferencewith the theme "Strengthening and Sustaining Research Cu]fure iD Educatiot)" this August23, 2019. The said event will run from 8:00a.in.-5:00 p.in. and will be held in the UV IndayTeresing Hall. All submissions related to research in education are welcome but priority will be
given to papers that focus on teaching and learning in 21S' century education, innovativeteactiing strategies, [earDibg management intervention, educational innovations al)dmodelling, health education, environmental/social issues and colicerns in education. Thecall for papers will start on June I, 2019 while the deadline for abstract Submission will be onJuly 30, 2019.
This event is open to all academic researchers from all the educational instrfutions in Region VIIand its neighbouring regions in the Philippines. The moming program will be composed of aseries of talks: one keynote speaker followed by 3 speakers for the plenary sessions. Parallelresearch presentations will follow in the afternoon.
