The code SJ1 designates a macroarea which includes all thoseactivities students can ask to be recognized for 4 credits (forexample Summer School, abroad language courses, otheractivities offered by the Department, other activities whichrequire the department’s authorization etc.). An additionalchoice among the activities with the same label is to be madelater.

The code SJII designates a macroarea wich includes all activitiesthat students can ask to be recognized for other 4 credits (forexample Summer School, abroad language courses, otheractivities offered by the Department, other activities whichrequire the department’s authorization etc). This option will bemade available by the system only if you chose SJ1 in theprevious page. An additional choice among the activities withthe same label is to be made later.

It is NEVER possible to select these combinations:

1 language (4 credits) + 1 Soft Skills activity (4 credits) 1 language (4 credits) + 1 language (4 credits) 1 Soft Skills activity (4 credits)+ 1 Soft Skills activity (4 credits) 1 seminar series (4 credits) + 1 laboratory (4 credits) 1 laboratory (4 credits) + 1 laboratory (4 credits)

The reason why you are not allowed to choose one of thesecombinations is that these activities’ schedules overlap or that theyhave limited enrollment.
