Connection is the key to make a relationship.Every human struggles to build and maintain connections.
Relationships areforever changing
Human relationships are living things, they’re forever changing, either by internal or external factors.
Internal factors: age, perception, thought, feelings.
External factors: natural change, social interactions, environmental change.
Communication ina Relationship
When two people are connected, they communicate in at least three different levels of communication:
Intrapersonal (with his/her own thoughts, feelings, hopes, and history)
Interpersonal (with other people’s thoughts, feelings, hopes, and history)
Intersociocultural (with groups, ethnicity, religion)

Relationship Processes
Major processes in relationships:
Development (contact, involvement, intimacy)
Maintenance (stay at certain level of involvement)
Deterioration (dissatisfaction, dissolution, ending)
Repair (attempt to change, correct or improve relationship problems)

There are three episodes in human relationships:

Presents early findings.
Explain relationships’ episode:
1. Choose & discuss relationship episodes (from news, public figures, etc.);
2. Declare the episode;
3. Highlight a story of every stages in its episode using Mark Knap’s Developmental Model;
Home assignment:Put the findings in a Facebook’s Notes (max. 200 words).Put the couples’ picture and use bold text for subtitle (the stages of episode).Tag group’s members and lecturers.Present in class next session.
