Conditions & Instructions:

1. Delivery should be made within 15 days after placing of the supply order. 2. The vendors are required to enclose copy of PAN no./ TIN no. and Authorization

Certificate with Technical Bids. If the said documents are found wrong, the University will take necessary action against the firm/vendor as per the rules.

3. The quotation should be accompanied by Earnest money as mentioned against the item (in the prescribed column) separately in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Principal Investigator, IUCCCC, Department of Earth Sciences, KU, without which the quotation will not be considered. Please note that the DD of Earnest money may please be enclosed with the technical bid or put in a separate envelope duly prescribed. The EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned after award of contract. The successful bidder(s) will be refunded after full and final supply is made as per supply order

4. This aforesaid item is going to be purchased for the use of Principal Investigator

and his team at the Department of Earth Sciences. Therefore, delivery is directly be made to Principal Investigator and accordingly receipt of delivery is to be taken. It is also informed that the PI or his nominee is responsible for the necessary certification of the equipment/items and any other claims of warranty etc.

5. The Tenderers should note that no alteration is permissible in downloaded tender

documents. The tender documents along with corrigendum, if any, available at the website of Department of Earth Sciences, University of Kashmir will be considered the Authorized Version in case of any dispute / variation. It must be noted that the tenderers/ firms who are found to be indulging in altering/ adding or deleting the contents of tender documents, will be liable to face suitable action as per the University rules.

supplies and supplies will have to be made at the quoted rates. Material should be

In case where the suppliers fail to supply the items within the time stipulated in the supply order compensation shall be recovered @ 1% of the value of order for every week’s delay (subject to a maximum of 10% of the cost of supplies) or the difference in price paid for the items purchased from other sources shall be recovered from suppliers out of their earnest money.

11. The tenderers who may wish to be present on this occasion can do so. However,

the successful bidders shall be asked to make presentation of their products in a power point presentation on the mutually convenient dates.
