Denzil is a prolific creative producer with two decades of professional experience across the film value chain. Previous work includes bringing to life mechanical mining extravaganza The Man Engine (voted UK’s Best Arts project 2017), producing Mark Jenkin’s “formally adventurous swirl of pure cinema” Bronco’s House (2015) “beautifully poignant, subtly compelling” Happy Christmas (2011) and Brett Harvey’s award-winning debut black comedy Weekend Retreat (2011). Project Manager – The Man Engine / Business Development Consultant | Golden Tree Productions CIC (Sep 2015 – Sep 2016) Project Manager for the Man Engine, responsible for management and delivery of the project. Role expanded to include Business development consultancy, improving and establishing systems & processes to underpin the high growth of the social enterprise. Achievements: Successfully brought the largest mechanical puppet ever constructed in Britain to life, managing 22 events with a live audience of 150,000 and a global media reach of over 112 million.

Senior Producer | Chew TV (Jan 2008 – Apr 2009) Online digital channel run by and for young people. “A communication channel for a connected generation.” Part of founding & management team, responsible for in-house content generation and acquisitions policy/processes.

Chair/Trustee | Cornwall Film Festival (Jan 2006 – Jan 2009) Annual celebration of Cornish and international filmmaking. Responsibilities included oversight of all board activities, board development, steering group management, recruitment and line management of festival staff, advocacy and fundraising negotiations with local authority and key national and local partners. Established and managed (with Festival Director) young people & student strand: Screen Actions. Under Denzil's leadership CFF doubled both its turnover and audience numbers and transitioned to full charitable status.
