Interagency Stabilization Group -- Results• ISG: Since 1993, $90 million invested in
preserving more than 5,000 units• GM-ISG: Since 1999, $40 million invested
in preserving more than 3,300 units• Stewardship Council: Since 2005, $5
million invested in preserving more than 200 units
Preservation Plus Initiative1. Identify and resolve gaps in existing
preservation processes and resources. 2. Improve early detection of at-risk properties
using the Watch list, Minnesota’s successful property risk predictive model.
3. Increase the operational capacity of owners and developers of existing affordable rental housing.
4. Develop a preservation strategy for unsubsidized affordable housing.
5. Capitalize a new flexible $2 million revolving loan fund.
