THE LEADERS IN THE MAKING ...

A leader is the one who sees the way, makes the way and shows the way... On a day marked for celebration in another corner of the world for the ascension of a nation that would in time be a superpower, the fourth of July saw the Investiture of Delhi Public School’s student council. The star spangled banner and the DPS flag were flown full mast on opposite sides of the globe.

The programme was graced by the presence of its Chief Guest- Group Captain Dhanjay Vijay Singh KhotVM, Mrs. Rekha Aggarwala, Academic Director, Delhi Public School, Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Miyapur also graced the occasion along with the Principal DPS Hyderabad, Mrs.GeethaVishwanathan.

The deputy Student Council, consisting of the appointed tenth graders, was invested first by the Chief Guest, involving the unravelling of the badges signifying each member’s post, following which the primary body student council consisting of the appointed twelfth graders was invested. The Chief Guest then administered an oath for the appointees- each declaring his or her resolve to fulfil their duties and live as model students.

We shall uphold our positions and carry forth our duties with devotion and loyalty…. The Torchbearers of the prefectorial board.

Class I G stood third.

CLASS: II Click and Win

Involve the students…that ‘s the catch for the day. Young children decides for themselves whether they want to participate in contest; if they don’t think its “cool,” they will stay away. Being a Smart leader in new generation school like DPS Hyderabad involves the students when planning events and activities on their behalf.

As a result of this initiative students of class II participated in a ‘Click and Win’ contest on 14th July 2016. The entire section of Class II participated in this contest conducted by Topaz House. The contest included literary skill, logical and analytical ability, and awareness of their surrounding and general awareness.
