Creative book builder Suzanne Arnott

1. Bring your own iPad with Creative Book Builder installed. Creative Book Builder is an app available for iOs and Android costs $4.45 from iTunes or Google Play Store. It should be loaded onto your device.

2. You should also bring along a range of media (photos, movies, text), and an idea for your book eg: Year 8 Textiles.

3. You could even bring paper worksheets you have used in the past to convert to digital format.

Creating a sample folio for VCE PD&T Units 3 & 4

2. Purchase Top Designs' catalogues with CD ROM from 2014 (student work from

2013) and 2013 (work from 2012), previous years are also helpful. Due to

copyright, these files must be purchased and not shared.

3. Save the Product Design and Technology pdf from each CD ROM onto your

computer/device.

4. Catalogues (only 2013 and 2014) can be purchased direct from Melbourne

Museum or online form VCAA

How to explain everything

1. You will need your own iPad/Android device with the Explain Everything App loaded. It is available on Android or iPad, (approx. $4.00) and an image which they would like to explain eg: the parts of a sewing machine, safety aspects of a lathe etc.

2. Headset and microphone would be helpful as you will be recording your instructions, this could get noisy.
