Because we won't allow National Burger Month to come and go without sharing a some patty news

we'd like to pass along word from Del Frisco's Grille. The restaurant has been celebrating burger

month with special offerings at its three North Texas location. The Fort Worth branch in Sundance

Square is serving a doozy christened the Russ Huey's Bass' Fort Worth Chili Burger in dedication

to the memory and talents of

former executive chef Russ

Huey.

The Dallas store's burger takes its name from the neigborhood it calls home. The Uptowner is a

snazzy dish of truffle oil, mushrooms, Brazos Valley Cheese brie from Waco, Texas, and arugula.

Executive chef Antonio Zamora says, “We take two Prime beef patties, herb-roasted wild shiitake,

portobello, oyster, and crimini mushrooms, and top it with local creamy brie cheese, crunchy,

peppery arugula tossed in truffle vinaigrette, and finishing it with a sweet basil aioli on an Empire

Bakery brioche bun."

The Del Frisco's Grille in

Southlake, Texas, is offering the

Lone Star Prime Cheeseburger,

which true to its name tacks on

beef brisket with jalapeños and

cheese. “This burger is made

from local ingredients, has a sweet tangy barbecue sauce, and the candied jalapenos are sweat

with a little heat that hits the backside of your throat,” explains executive chef Aaron Henschen

So stop in at a Del Frisco's Grille for one of the specials, all of which comes with frites seasoned

with sea salt and the chef's recommend pairing it with the Adult Milkshake, made with Nocello

walnut liqueur, crème de cacao chocolate liqueur, and vanilla ice cream. Time is running out.
