“All religions refer to the same deity. It is light and vibration. It is our purpose to return to and remain with it through the rest of our days.”

(A Sanani Indian in trance during a medial session 1999)

I have experienced 10 difficult, great and stirring trips to Giza. They have changed me as evidenced in this book. I do not want to convince anyone to simply believe my ad-ventures; I merely want to pass on my impressions. I feel I am almost obliged to do so. I have been able to experience great things and have come to realize that this experience gains sense only in telling others and allowing them to participate in it.

The journeys to Giza went far beyond mere scientific un-dertakings to the Pyramids. For me they also became spiri-tual adventures. I ventured far back into the history of hu-mankind to gain insight into wherefrom, why and whereto. This is the legacy that was bestowed upon me and which I now wish to pass on. Today, I realize that each individual trip fits wonderfully into a whole. For having made this possible I owe my gratitude to…

But wait. I must start at the beginning. Now, where and when did it really begin? Perhaps at the outset it was the disappointment of the youngster I was then, wanting to know and feel more instead of only believing. Having been raised a catholic; I was a religious child that was deeply in-spired by the story of Jesus. Though my protestant mother and catholic father were aware of this fact, they themselves were more down to earth.

However, at my grandmother’s house, located in the Italian part of Switzerland and where I often spent my vacations, a more religious atmosphere prevailed. This influenced me to such an extent that at the age of twelve I served mass as an altar boy. The village priest was very sociable and I admired how lovingly he mingled with everyone. Yet, still I was disappointed. Neither he nor later catechism, the vi-cars nor my confirmation priest, could answer my deeply rooted questions. “You just have to believe,” was the usual response.

Personal Preface

It struck me that their statements were not actually based on their own experience, but on knowledge they had read or memorized. I left the church at the age of 21! In spite of this, I believe this is when I began on my spiritual path – in this phase of deep skepticism. As far as I was concerned there may be an elementary, higher or creative power, but what does it still have to do with me today? And Darwin with his “Theory of Evolution”: the emergence of a human being from a single cell seemed to be even less plausible.

Giza on the Glacier

And yet I was missing something. My inner craving re-mained intact. I still entertained the thought within that there must be answers to my slumbering questions. What is the purpose of life? How were humans created? Was it through this deity that never reveals itself? Was it through the promised redemption? Redemption from what, for what purpose?I did what many people do – I tried this and that in an effort to find answers. My aids were autogenous training and various types of meditation. I also read a great deal. A determining factor was most likely my re-discovery of prayer. Was this perhaps always the beginning of every spi-ritual path? At any rate, I was tentatively on the verge of a new belief. It was during this time, on a 2-day solo hike, alone at night in a tent on the Sardona glacier that I had a weird dream:I was in Giza! I stood between the pyramids. As if by ma-gic, the heavy stone blocks began to move. Priests stood around me. I heard one of them utter “You shall return to this place soon”.

I woke up early in the morning in the lonely mountain landscape as bewildered as I was impressed. I pictured the dream in astounding clarity throughout the day. What did this mean? I did not know but I realized the sensation of re-birth.

Something within me began to grow. My belief in us hu-mans as the likeness of a loving deity of creation reawa-kened in me with greater intensity. We were not alone! That was already fascinating in itself. Was it perhaps just waiting for us to unfurl ourselves to it? Would I experience

Page 16: DEI LEGACY - download.e-bookshelf.deEmanuel Swedenborg (Sweden) 1688 – 1772 23 Jacob Lorber (Austria) 1800 – 1864 24 ... Comparison of the four world religions 196 Hinduism (from

14

more if I were to open myself? And of course, the reference to Giza did not let go of me. Though I couldn’t place it properly, I could, at least, take it seriously. So I immersed into new books and old scriptures. I informed myself on the myths stemming from various cultures as well as religious records. I again began to belie-ve in a redemption plan. It was mentioned in all religions. It could even be traced back to ancient cultures. In each GENESIS there was a primary creator (God, Jahwe, Allah, Brahma, etc.) who first created a spiritual world followed by a material world with all its forms of life. A large closed cycle connects the two worlds. And basically all religions said the same thing: The conscious human shall return from the material to the spiritual world. And throughout, mention was made of light-beings guiding humans on their path back to their spiritual home. In this way, the humanbeing would be prepared to follow this path. And I? Was I prepared? This seemed to be a great endea-vor. Would and could I embark on this endeavor? How else could I prove the truth of these hypotheses?

I am an independent entrepreneur and live in a real world with real demands on me as a businessman, as well as an independent explorer. Common sense is what was expec-ted of me. I was used to analytical thinking and to take responsibility. Were these spiritual conceptions not a con-tradiction? And, if not, how could they be brought into alignment?

Do you not have any further questions?

In 1999 another key event helped me. It started with my participation as a disbeliever or, at least, a very skeptical Rico Paganini in a medial session.

A Canadian Sanani would connect to the spiritual world. Really? Was that at all possible? Was that not some sort of hocus-pocus? How should I ever be able to determine whether he was telling the truth or merely dreaming up a story? What being “from the other side” would provide us with information? Nevertheless, I prepared myself with a load of doubts. My list of questions grew long, very long.

Then he entered. He suddenly stood in the room – a nearly 2-meter (6-foot) tall Indian, a Sanani. The tape-recorder was turned on as he abruptly started to speak in a totally different voice. I was asked to pose the questions I had prepared the night before. I was totally astonished. When

he then introduced me to my guardian being, whom he had been able to contact, my doubts seemed to diminish, for it was too obvious that this being knew me all too well. This was nothing that the Sanani could have known him-self. In the true sense, a window to heaven opened up be-fore me. My assumptions became my belief in knowledge. I learned of the experiences and incarnations I had already experienced on earth, in particular the ONE in Giza. Eve-rything seemed to fit and I now understood my vision on the glacier in a larger context. It was more than I had ex-pected. I was fully satisfied. “But you prepared many more questions the previous night” was the astounding invita-tion to continue my questioning and which my guardian transmitted through the Indian.Perhaps this was moment that I underwent a change of perspective. At any rate, I was now on my way towards opening up for the things I would later encounter. And I finally wanted to go to Giza. A first journey was planned, but then I received a message, which changed everything. This was my third key encounter.

“Soon you will embark on a journey to a land which is today called Egypt. It is an ideal time to do so (….) As an Atlantean you have long maintained a strong inner bond to this place. So go forth for the salvation of your soul (…) but be wary of the dark beings present in such places that will endeavor to disturb and hinder your underta-kings. Thus, choose your paths cautiously and be heedful in Giza and the so-called Mount of Moses (Mount Sinai).”

(Thoth – May 27, 2000)

I was astonished. I was stirred. I could not believe nor com-prehend that someone from a long lost world should have addressed me. Someone? No! He revealed himself as Tho-th. A deity from ancient times? Perhaps it was the joy of having been addressed by him that I suppressed the war-ning regarding the dark beings!

A holy name is called upon

Accompanied by a good friend, in May 2000 I stood in front of the pyramids for the first time, and, as anyone probably would be, I was amazed and deeply touched by their majestic beauty. I also recall my awe. I could feel the immense energies that have been at work here (and still prevail?). What is the meaning of this place? What did these structures stand for? Alas, I did not yet know, but I

Page 17: DEI LEGACY - download.e-bookshelf.deEmanuel Swedenborg (Sweden) 1688 – 1772 23 Jacob Lorber (Austria) 1800 – 1864 24 ... Comparison of the four world religions 196 Hinduism (from

15

was open to new perspectives. We began our field expe-riments and measurements on site with joy and a touch of euphoria. I had given no further thought to the dark beings supposedly at work since everything was procee-ding smoothly. I was astonished; I learned and soon reali-zed that this one stay would not suffice and that I would return.

We began our journey home. Via Suez we crossed the Sinai desert and reached the Mount of Moses (Mount Sinai). We did not want to miss the opportunity of climbing it. Owing to numerous military checkpoints and lengthy waiting we were late in reaching Saint Catherine’s Monastery at the foot of the mountain at 11:00 p.m. We would only be able to sleep a few hours since we had planned to reach the top of the mountain by 5:00 a.m. in order to observe the legendary sunrise over 3 continents. We occupied a small hut. The friendly guard promised to wake us on time. It was a scant room but the two cots were totally sufficient. After a short prayer my friend and I fell into a restless slumber – or did we fall into a realm between dream and reality? My friend seemed to be sleeping as I got up, because I was irritated by a strange noise and a draft. But did he see and hear how I got up to close the window? Did I really leave my bed? Was I in a semi-sleep state, or perhaps not? An icy cold flowed through me and I felt it very distinctly. Also the paralysis coming over my body was very real.I was afraid and knew in that very moment that we are not alone. I could hear voices from beings. They were re-ally there. They started speaking louder in an ancient lan-guage, unknown to me – and suddenly I see that one of the beings is insulting my friend and attacking him! This cannot be, this all had to be a bad dream! Meanwhile, my friend was sleeping and yet panicking inside. He felt, as I did, that someone was there. He felt the same paralysis that came over me me. He knew he must wake me up be-cause we were in danger. Light! Where is the light switch? But his body was also unable to react. He fought. He must wake me up. Somehow he managed to throw a pillow at my head. The night table at my side fell over. He saw it, he knew it and yet nothing happened.

I lunged in front of the being attacking and pushing it aside, until it gave way. And yet nothing happened or changed. Ever more beings circled around us. I wondered if my friend also felt my distress. At the time, I did not yet realize that he felt the same. To me it seemed like he was

still sleeping.Darkness and cold began to assume claustrophobic pro-portions. And as I noticed how my energy was diminishing and it grew afraid that we would succumb, my friend reali-zed he must risk all and shouted aloud into the dark room: “Jesus Christ”. The beings suddenly disappeared as if they were ghosts. We were alone and I could slowly move again. I sensed my friend’s restless breath. I heard breath upon breath until we slowly calmed down. I was exhausted, but felt awake until someone stirs my arm. It was my friend waking me up. The window I thought I had closed was wide open.

This is probably what it seems like when two shipwrecked people stranded on an island, saved from great danger, recount their experience: the two of us sitting on our beds. Though we were both relieved, we were still excited and perplexed. Almost all our experiences and perceptions were identical. There was no reason to believe in a dream or hal-lucination, the mutual experiences and feelings were too identical and nearly synchronous.Though perhaps I did not yet realize it at the time, but today in retrospect I realize that from that day on I em-barked on my path. For a moment we were inclined to call everything off and not risk the ascent. I had now come to realize the unsafe resistance we would have to reckon with. Did I want to take this risk? No, said my logical reasoning. Yes, said my inner voice, you are going. We followed our feelings, climbed up and it was wonder-ful.So began my exploration of al Giza (Egypt) that resulted in an adventure which I have attempted to convey in this trilogy.

The spirit of redemption, which inspired my companions and me, is the same as the one that my friend and I en-countered in the hut on the slope of the so-called Mount of Moses.

My chaperon, who escorted me in writing volume II “DEI-Legacy” was none other than the Archangel Gabriel, who, together with Michael and Chamuel constitutes the trinity which plays a major role in the history of mankind.

The being, which guided us on all 10 journeys and assisted me in volume I – “Giza Legacy” was the same one that warned me of my first journey and at the same time con-nects me with Giza.

The mighty pyramids and their underground mysteries hold legacies purer than the most transparent diamonds. One of them states; “The wonder of cognition is within you”. The Giza adventure and all that we have learned in the process regarding the Spiritual World has changed my life. All my senses are sharper; the deep hidden knowledge within me has given way to the treasure of my own experience and wisdom.

It is my wish, dear reader, that you may experience this same wonder. However, I am fully aware that only you can decide whether this can be the case or not. Join us on this expedition; allow yourself to get a sense of our experience or even feel inspired to embark on your own spiritual path. I cordially invite you to do so. Try not to read this book only with your mind, but also with your heart. On many occasions we also had to overcome our logical reasoning and old beliefs in order to see, feel and verify with heart. I hope and wish that this book of spiritual guidance might serve to enhance the understanding of who we really are, par-ticularly for better mutual understanding between races and religions. There is probably no human experience more beautiful or more exciting than the journey into one’s own self, a place so far and yet so near. With this I wish you joy and deep knowing on your own path.

19Introduction - Insight trough Spiritual Guidance

While mediumistic reception of spiritual guidance can be found in almost all cultures, it has primarily been the shamans and healers who have traditionally been most receptive to it.Spiritual reception of divine truths commonly used in the Christian tradition (angelic speech or to hear the word of God or of the Angels) and the spread of this capability in our time was prophesied more than 2,000 years ago:

“2:14 But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words.2:15 For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is {only} the third hour of the day;2:16 but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel:2:17 `AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says, `THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS;2:18 EVEN ON MY BONDSLAVES, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, I WILL IN THOSE DAYS POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT And they shall prophesy.” (Bible - 0.1)

It is astonishing to note the number of people in the past 70 years who have gone public with mediumistic messages from various entities.

“…Sons and Daughters shall prophesy”

Insights through spiritual guidance in themselves are not unusual, since this capacity is inherent in every being. This gift can be trained as any other and, under certain internal and external circumstances, permits us to receive words and messages from other beings. Tune in to your spiritual guardian and sooner or later you will begin to feel and ultimately hear. However, you will also require training and assistance to benefit from this capability. It is also wise to have someone present.

Imagine a radio: Programs and stations are constantly on the air on various frequencies. It is only a matter of tuning in to the station we want to hear. Therefore, it is a matter of how clear a human being (receiver) is in conscious-ness and how pure in his or her soul. The purity of the sender transmitting words and images is just as important. The level of wisdom and consciousness and the content of the transmission is dependent on whether the being still exists in some realm of the earth and is thus still connected to it in some way, or if it has already reached the higher echelons of the material or spiritual world. Sometimes, it may occur that different spiritual helpers will take turns communicating, depending on the subject matter involved.

DEI LEGACY20

Dark beings who also reside both in the higher levels on the earth and the higher dimensions and are intent on using such communication to confuse and influence human beings may try to hinder such communication. Therefore, it is advisable to reflect objectively on your counterpart, the content of the conversation and the mutual intentions (cause and effect), as you would before any important conversation on earth, and possibly invite a third me-diumistic person to do the same.

Light beings never make demands or give orders to do something. They usually offer explanations and examples to help us to understand ourselves and our lives and to help us master our tasks and problems by ourselves. They respect our free will and help us to go our own way. Light beings touch our hearts and our feelings; they teach us to take responsibility for ourselves and to believe in ourselves as “I am”. Only through our own experience can we follow our own paths.

In contrast, dark beings issue us outright instructions. They tell us what to do in order to solve problems. They judge other humans and predict our future (which a light being would never do so as not to influence our free will). They thereby lead us into a new dependency instead of promoting “self-help”.

This means that we are not talking about an extraordinary gift given to just a few, but one that all humans carry within them. It is only a matter of disco-vering and developing it. This step makes us more conscious, clearer and allows us to take our own path in harmony with body, mind and soul.Humans who have become conscious of their mediumistic powers are not “crazy”, but are on their individual paths toward developing holistic human beings.

“You cannot teach a human being anything. You can only help him to find it within himself.” (Gallileo Gallilei)

Major works of Christian psychics

In the following pages are listed a few of the great “psychics” of the past 500 years with a Christian background. They are typified by their simple and exemplary way of living. As awakened minds and in their capacity as scientists, healers and educators they have succeeded in bridging the gap between mate-rial existence and their own spiritual being and mediumistic experience. They are renowned through the writings they have left behind, all of which empha-size and trace the unity of body (matter), mind (sensibility and knowledge) and soul (spirituality). These writings still have an impact today and some are only now being fully understood.

“A truth can only be effective once the recipient is ripe for it.Therefore, it does not lie in the truths if humans are so ignorant.”

(Christian Morgenstern)

Note:Though these extraordinary human beings hail from different centuries, what they all share is dedication to the loving path of Jesus Christ after having en-countered their mediumistic experiences and insights. Having received teachings from the light beings they have lead readers on a path of love and wisdom (holistic wisdom). Moreover, their writings exhibit a significant level of congruence and completeness, although when reading them allowances must be made for the respective period and language. Each of these works and their overall reflection lead to self-knowledge and brotherly love. Each is a pearl within the spiritual legacy and helps us to better understand the Holy Scriptures in the Old and the New Testament. The 7 short profiles of these great men follow in the order of their date of birth.

“Once you realize what generations before you strived for, conceived and crea-ted, then you will recognize and make use of the potential your own short life has to offer. And you will know: Here I stand on a huge mountain of human history and culture that others have prepared for me over countless millenni-ums. You small human beings, living in the 20th century! You sit on a fathomless pile of past cultures not knowing how to use your time meaningfully and have for-gotten that hundreds of thousands of years and thousands of generations have worked to bring you up this mountain. Do you think about it?”

Michel de Nostredame “Nostradamus” (France) 1503 – 1566

Nostradamus was born Michel de Nostredame on December 14, 1503 in Saint-Rèmy, France. It is said that he spent his youth with his great-grandfather, Jean de Saint-Rèmy, who taught him Latin, Greek, Hebrew, mathematics and astro-logy. The outbreak of plague forced him to discontinue his studies in 1519, and he decided to become a pharmacist. He began treating plague victims and his healing achievements soon earned him a reputation as an exceptional healer. During his 4-year stay in Agen, he married a young noblewoman who soon bore him a son and a daughter, all of whom perished from the plague in 1535. These losses, together with the loss of confidence in his abilities as a healer, differences with his patron, Scaliger, and a writ of summons from the Inquisi-tion were reason enough for him to resume his travels. In 1544 he continued his career as a plague healer in Marseille. In 1547 his marriage to a rich widow named Anne Ponsarde made him a man of leisure. They had three sons and three daughters together.

Around 1550 he began to write down his prophecies and in the same year he started publishing yearly almanacs for agriculture containing forecasts for the respective year (which he continued to do until the year of his death). The publication of his book, “The Centuries,” in 1555 made him so famous that people came from far away to seek his counsel. Even Queen Catherine de’ Medici commissioned him to create horoscopes for herself, King Henry II and her children. King Charles IX appointed him to court physician in 1560.“The Centuries” describes events due to occur from the mid-16th century until the end of the world and comprises 965 quatrains, 58 six-line stanzas and 141 other verses, mostly in French.

The subject of Nostradamus again became fashionable in the commotion sur-rounding the year 2000 – the turning point was predicted to take place in the year 1999, while the world was prophesied to come to an end in 3797 accor-ding to our calendar. Verse 72 from Century X:

“The year 1999, seventh month, From the sky will come a great King of Terror. To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,Before and after Mars to reign by good luck”. (Nostradamus – 0.3)

Mars is symbolic of war (Iraq). ‘King of the Mongols’ refers to the French seat of kings in the city of “Angolmois” and stands for central power (USA). Devout doomsayers concluded that this was now the end of the world. What happened on August 11, 1999, however, was “only” the most total solar eclipse of the century. But when we consider the time difference, then the dates match (see page 386)

Fig. 0.2 – Renowned during his time for his almanacs and “The Centuries,” Nostradamus remains one of the leading authors of prophecies to this day.

23Introduction - Insight trough Spiritual Guidance

Emanuel Swedenborg (Sweden) 1688 – 1772

Son of Sara Behm and Jesper Swedberg, bishop of Skara, Emanuel Swedberg was born on January 29, 1688. After concluding his studies at the University of Uppsala, he travelled overseas to study the latest discoveries in mathematics, physics and chemistry. The young scholar had already discovered some remar-kable inventions during his first journey through various European countries, and left behind drawings for airplanes, submarines, steam-driven engines (first sketches of a steam engine), calculators, and more. In 1717, he turned down an appointment to a professorship for higher mathematics at the University of Uppsala in order to be able to devote himself to the mining council. He was one of the founding members of the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences. To King Charles XII, he even proposed the introduction of a new measurement and weight system that abolished fractions: today’s common decimal system. In 1719, he was knighted by Queen Ulrike Elconore and took on the name Swe-denborg. His book “Opera Philosophica et Mineralia” (On Philosophy and Mine-rals) was published in 1743, in which he applies his teachings on oscillation to biological phenomena. The quintessence of Swedenborg’s philosophy was:

“…to uncover the imperceptible fine threads that form the great tissue of creation.” (Kramke – 0.4)

Swedenborg was working on his “Regnum Animale” when he experienced strange spiritual sensations. His spiritual attitude, which had always been respectful of things divine in nature, became markedly religious. In London in April 1745, Swedenborg experienced a vision of Christ. He wrote:

“During the night a man appeared. The man said he was God The Lord, Creator and Redeemer of Earth and that he had chosen me to explain to humankind the spiritual meaning of the Holy Scriptures and that he would dictate to me what I should write on the subject. I am convinced that in that night the spi-ritual world, Heaven and Hell opened and several acquaintances of mine from all levels of society appeared. From this day on, I rejected all worldly learning in favor of the spiritual tasks the Lord would dictate to me. Every day the Lord opened the eyes of my spirit, which allowed me to be fully aware of what was transpiring in other worlds and to talk to angels and spirits.” (Kramke – 0.5)

In 1748, he began to write his theological work entitled “Opus Magnum” (hea-venly secrets in the words of God) comprising 8 volumes, which he completed between 1749 and 1756. This fundamental work effectively contains his entire theological teachings. Five books were published in the year 1758 alone, inclu-ding “”Heaven and its Wonders” (Heaven and Hell), probably his most compre-hensive work on the world beyond and its inhabitants. These were followed by “The Revelations of St. John” and “True Christian Religion”.

Fig. 0.3 – Swedenborg was considered the foremost universal scholar and genius in the sciences in his day. He left behind a huge wealth of technical and scientific documents as well as 25 volumes of mediumistic scriptures.

Jacob Lorber (Austria) 1800 – 1864

Jacob Lorber was born in Kanischa (then Austria, today Slovenia) on July 7, 1800. Jacob inherited a distinct musical talent from his father, Michael Lorber, a conductor who also played several musical instruments. He gained fame as a solo violinist in public concerts and as a composer. Following secondary school and his occupation as a tutor, he studied to become a professional teacher, but found no employment. In 1830, he gave up pursuing his life’s ambition and began to concentrate solely on music as a music teacher and piano tuner. During his morning prayers on March 15, 1840 Lorber heard a voice “in the proximity of the heart” saying loud and clear “Arise, take your pen and write!” In response to this call he wrote the following:

“J. Lorber obeyed this mysterious call and began to write down what the voice dictated to him. It was the introduction to his first work, “The Household of God”: Thus spoke the Lord to and within me for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain: Who wants to talk with Me, let him come to Me and I will lay the answer in his heart. But only the pure of heart, whose heart is full of meekness, shall hear the sound of My voice. And he who prefers Me to all the world and loves Me like a tender bride her bridegroom, with him I shall walk arm in arm. He will always behold Me like a brother his brother and as I beheld him from eternity, be fore he was.” (Lorber – 0.6)

Lorber had just been offered the position of assistant musical director at the theater in Trieste. As a result of this encounter he turned it down to devote himself entirely to being “God’s scribe”, as he called himself, for the rest of his life. He transcribed the mediumistic inner voice that he received, which he iden-tified as that of Jesus Christ – the living Word of God. Among his 25 volumes and a number of shorter essays three pearls of his work are worth mentioning: “The Great Gospel of John”, “The Youth of Jesus” and “The Household of God”. According to the public prophecies Lorber made 150 years ago, humanity is currently undergoing an unprecedented internal and external paradigm shift. The current decades represent the final, extremely turbulent episode, consi-sting of increases in the number of natural catastrophes and technical disasters resulting from human error (age of transition), before embarking on a new era in which the peace of the promised kingdom of Jesus Christ shall reign when humans shall live in the spirit of his divine love. Lorber’s complete works have been compiled under the title “New Revelation” (in contrast to the so often falsified biblical “Old Revelation”). His intention was to bring to the attention of industrialized society the genuine and complete doctrine of salvation, which Jesus only preached to his apostles and disciples, free from traditional miscom-prehensions and misinterpretations, in combination with discoveries that can only be understood in the context of the modern age. Emphasis is placed on the divine teachings of salvation as well as insight into the origin of spiritual creation, as well as the motive and purpose of material creation.

Fig. 0.4 – Lorber’s masterpiece entitled “New Revelation” consists of 25 volumes and a number of smaller essays. His final work was entitled “The Revelation of St. John”.

25Introduction - Insight trough Spiritual Guidance

Rudolf Steiner (Austria) 1861 – 1925

Rudolf Steiner was born in Kralevec (formerly Austria) on February 27, 1861. Son of a railroad official, in addition to attending classes at primary school, he began a course of self-education from various textbooks. At the early age of 16, he is said to have read Kant’s “Critique of Pure Reason”. From 1879 to 1882, Steiner attended the Vienna Institute of Technology where he studied mathematics, science, literature, philosophy and history. His intense research on Goethe resulted in the publication of 5 volumes entitled, “Commentaries on Goethe’s Scientific Works,” between 1882 and 1897. Steiner also published the works of the philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer, and the poet, Jean Paul, and wrote articles for various encyclopedias. However, he made his living as a tea-cher and tutor. In 1891, Steiner earned a doctorate in philosophy at the Uni-versity of Rostock in Germany with a thesis based upon Fichte’s concept of the ego, later published in expanded form as “Truth and Knowledge”. For a short period, Steiner worked for Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche to organize Nietzsche’s archives, thereby creating Nietzsche’s first bibliography, which formed the basis for all catalogues that followed. At the turn of the century, Steiner experienced exciting years of mythical, deeply rooted and highly inspiring key experiences which led to his conversion to a devout follower of Jesus Christ. Thereafter, he withdrew from all his editorial assignments and began to compose and advo-cate his own work, which he termed “Anthroposophy” (anthropos = human; Sophia = wisdom) and on which he gave regular public lectures in Berlin and throughout Europe. By the time of his death they added up to over 6,000 lec-tures totaling 350 volumes.

The esoteric Theosophical Society founded a German chapter in 1902 and Steiner was elected chairman. The teachings were based on those of its co-founder, Helena P. Blavatsky, herself a medium, who died in 1891. Today she is regarded as a forerunner of modern “esotericism”. However, Steiner differed from Blavatsky’s theosophical teachings in 2 points: First: The core of the hu-man entity, the “I” is of key significance on the path of spiritual development. And second: The singularity and uniqueness of Jesus Christ, who was regarded by elderly theosophists merely as a “master”. In 1911, when some members of the Theosophical Society in London close to Charles Webster Leadbeater regarded the 16-year old Jiddu Krishnamurti as the “Reincarnation of Christ”, Steiner and others left the society. He then founded the Anthroposophical Society in Dornach, Switzerland, which was marked entirely by his inner focus and his life’s work. This humanitarian science was designed to enable people to understand the connection between the physical and the spiritual world and to create a new perception from this understanding. He referred to a “spiritual eye” that permitted perception of a psychic and spiritual world that existed simultaneously with the physical world.

Fig. 0.5 – A revolutionary not only as an anthroposophist pedagogue (Waldorf school), but also as a reformer (threefold social order), artist (architecture, eurhythmy), healer (An-throposophical medicine = Weleda pharmaceutical company), religious benefactor (Christian community) and farmer (biodynamic agriculture = “Demeter”).

Edgar Cayce (USA) 1877 - 1945

We made reference to the trance psychic, Edgar Cayce, in the first volume of this trilogy, GIZA Legacy, in regard to his life long dedication to the systematic and scientific exploration of the Sphinx.

Edgar Cayce was born on March 18, 1877 in Hopkinsville, USA, where he expe-rienced a peaceful, happy childhood and grew up to become a photographer. He lost his voice at the age of 24 in 1901, causing him to be able to speak only in whisper. Since no doctor was able to help him, friends advised him to see a hypnotist, but as a faithful young Christian he hesitated to take that advice. After having exhausted all other options, a year later he went to a therapist who put him under hypnosis and questioned him about his illness. Cayce responded in a clear voice and said what had to be done to heal the disorder. After awakening from the hypnosis, he had no memory of what had happened, but the treatment he had described nevertheless proved successful. The physi-cian attending the experiment wanted to know whether Cayce could help other people with his subconscious capabilities. The results again proved astounding. When in a trance, Cayce gave detailed indications of healing methods and medicines using medical terminology, to which he had no access in a conscious state of mind.

Over a period of 27 years Cayce conducted around 14,000 readings, all of which where written down and, to a large extent, verified. Nearly two-thirds of them were medical consultations, which resulted in the healing of many peop-le. Often the readings would also involve a reflection on the patient’s (or “the entities” as he called them) past. One topic that Cayce often discussed in trance was Egypt:

“As there were evidences and prophecies of Atlantis being broken up, and Egypt was chosen as one of those places where the records of that activity or peoples were to be established.” (Cayce - 0.7)

“The entity was among those that aided in the actual building of some of these buildings that still remain, and in the preparation of that one yet to be uncovered - the hall of records - where mutch may be brought to light.”

(Cayce - 0.8)

Many of the statements contained in Edgar Cayce’s 14,146 readings refer to lost cultures and sunken continents and in this context describe Egyptian prehistory. The information largely corresponds to the sparse information on ancient Egyptian records known today, all of which also refer to a prehistoric era (see Volume 1 “GIZA Legacy”). Edgar Cayce died in 1945.

27Introduction - Insight trough Spiritual Guidance

Mikhael Aivanhov (Bulgaria) 1900 – 1986

Mikhael Aivanhov was born to a poor family in Serbzi, Macedonia. Following an austere childhood and youth, he had his first experience of “ecstasy” and a “divine exaltation” in 1916, which caused him to devote the next 20 years of his life to following a strong spiritual orientation and a strict regime of self-discipline.

He had a key experience in 1917, when he met Master Peter Deunov (1864 – 1944), founder of the “Universal White Brotherhood”, to whom he felt a strong affiliation. Deunov developed the foundation and working method, then passed the exercises, melodies and paneurythms that he composed on to his succes-sor. Along with his spiritual studies with Deunov, Aivanhov also attended the University of Sofia (1923 – 1931). Upon completion of his studies he became a teacher and later, principal of a secondary school (1932 – 1935). In 1937, Deunov entrusted him with bringing his teachings to France and spreading them throughout the West (also, as he asserted, to preserve it from the spread of communism).

In the 50 years until his death Aivanhov went on to intensify his mediumistic study of the teachings of the Universal White Brotherhood, and to complement and propagate them in some 5,000 lectures. Though he was mainly active in France, he also held lectures during his various visits to Switzerland, Canada, the USA and Scandinavia, all with the intention of helping people. His philo-sophy is considered universal in nature and is based on the Christian religion; however, it also integrates other religions and philosophies.

He illustrated and spoke of the great eternal truths and explained the origin of and solutions for the problems confronting human society today with such simplicity that everyone could understand.

His life’s work (32 complete works and 42 paperbacks) is based on lectures that were written down or recorded on tape or video.Aivanhov unveils the age-old mystery of spiritual creation and human deve-lopment based on identical principles – the micro cosmos in the macro cosmos (see Hermes page 46) – and the ongoing exchange between the two. Through the millennia this knowledge has taken on many forms. Depending on the era, the conditions prevailing on a continent and the development stage of the local population various religions came into being originating from the same source. His comprehensive doctrine on life applies regardless of race, creed, status or ability to participate in the realization of a new age of brotherhood and peace.

He was a profoundly peaceful and deeply spiritual man and set an example in terms of purity, wisdom and love. Mikhael Aivanhov died in 1986.

Fig. 0.7 – A trip to India in 1956 was a special experience in which he met with a number of spiritual teachers, one of whom, Maharajah Nimkaroli Babaji (mirror of love) gave him the name “Omraam”.

Jim James Hurtak (USA) 1940

Jim James Hurtak was born in 1940 in the U.S.A. He studied at the University of California where he earned his first doctorate, followed by a second PhD from the University of Minnesota. The young academic was then appointed to a professorship at two universities in California. In 1973, after experiencing a revelation, the all-rounder and primarily science-oriented researcher underwent a fundamental change of life and outlook, following revelations revealed to him by Enoch (the seventh in line after Adam), which he recorded in a book of wisdom entitled “The Keys of Enoch”. Follo-wing a visitation lasting some 48 hours, in which he gained access to deep in-sights and teachings, he began to write the 64 “Keys of Enoch”. Actually, there are only 54 keys for each field of science, the last 10 keys corresponding to the 10 Commandments. Prof. Hurtak’s completed work resulted in great controver-sy, not primarily due to its stupendous content, but more because it was not deemed appropriate for a professor to publicize such revolutionary information and concepts without prior scientific analysis and verification.

As a result, he lost his professorship, thereupon he set about finding scientific proof of these keys. He has succeeded in many cases and continues to hunt down evidence to this day. He also founded his own Academy for Future Sci-ence (AFFS). Over the past 40 years, Prof. Hurtak has become one of the most distinguished personalities of our time, involved in almost all fields of science as well as in our history and future (as an Archeologist, Orientologist, Sociolo-gist and remote sensing scientist). It was in this latter capacity that he joined the Schor team, which went on to discover the “Osiris Chambers” in Giza in 1997. Prof. Hurtak played an equally essential role as an advisor in the discove-ry of the underwater pyramids of Yonaguni in Japan as well as in the explorati-on of pyramid structures in Mexico, Brazil and China.

His main work is based on a new, holistic interpretation of the Holy Scriptures and the “Keys of Enoch,” which he considers to be his contribution to humani-ty serving the ascension of the souls.

Prof. Hurtak has published 15 books to date, which have already been transla-ted into 10 languages, as well as numerous other publications on specific to-pics.
