Dehumidifier Maintenance Checklist Use this checklist to monitor the maintenance of your Dri‐Eaz dehumidifiers. Regular maintenance will keep your equipment operating at maximum efficiency.
BEFORE EACH USE Equipment required: Vacuum cleaner, replacement air filters
Date Hours
Initials
Inspect the electrical cord for damage. Look for fraying, cuts, etc. Do not use and replace damaged cords before putting the unit back in to service.
Inspect filter. Look for accumulated dust and dirt that would restrict airflow through the filter into the unit. If any is visible, vacuum out the debris. Do not wash the filter, as it will reduce the effectiveness of the electrostatic material.
IMPORTANT: HAF filters may be vacuumed and reused up to three times before replacement. Replace filters after every mold job.
MONTHLY Equipment required: Vacuum cleaner, Coil Cleaner (be sure to follow instructions on label), clean rags, tools as listed in the product manual (Go to Manuals.drieaz.com and select specific model).
Unplug unit and remove cover to access coils, catch basin, and drain hose. Date Hours
Initials
Check coils and clean when visibly dirty. Vacuum both sides until clean, being careful not to let the nozzle touch the fins. If excessively dirty, clean using coil cleaner. Dirty coils can reduce performance and cause the unit to overheat.
Check pump basin and drip tray (located between the coils) and clean when dirt and debris are present.
Check drain hose for obstructions. Disconnect and clear any debris present. Reattach drain hose.
Inspect and clean pump check valve. Be sure to re‐insert the bail into check valve.
Specific instructions for your specific Dri‐Eaz dehumidifier are provided in your Owner's Manual. Visit Dri‐Eaz.com to download current manuals and view useful tips to keep your equipment operating smoothly.

HIGH AIR FLOW FILTERS
HAF filters from 3M provide superior particle retention, resist microbial growth on filter surfaces and allow for maximum airflow throughout the filter loading cycle.› Open channel design provides high airflow
› Electrostatic charged media provides enhanced particle capture
› Resists the growth of mold and mildew on filter media
› Provides more airflow throughout the operating cycle, reducing energy consumption and improving equipment efficiency
› Reduces waste when filters are cleaned and reused.
GET MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE FROM YOUR DEHUMIDIFIERS
ABOUT 3M™ HAF FILTERSFollow these guidelines to ensure maximum performance and protection for equipment:
› Replace the HAF filter whenever it has been vacuumed clean and reused three times. HAF filters lose their effectiveness after three uses.
› Replace the HAF filter whenever it has been used on a mold remediation job or otherwise exposed to potentially dangerous contaminants. Continued use of the filter risks the spread of contamination.
› Do not wash or apply any liquids to the HAF filter. Exposure to liquids will reduce the effectiveness of the electrostatic material.
› Do not operate dehumidifier without the HAF filter in place. Do not operate the unit with any other filter type. Incorrect filtration will reduce unit efficiency and can cause damage to the unit.
› Do not operate the unit when excessive dust or airborne particles are present. The high volumes of particulates present during sanding, spray painting, or similar operations can clog
Electrostatically-charged microstructured filter media captures more particles
