EMBA candidates spend a week in Palo Alto, California during their second module, immersed in a community which lives and breathes digital disruption. You will network with passionate professionals, learn about influential products and trends, and gain insight first-hand from the organizations and experts who are leading digital transformation.

Highlights of the trip include:

• Studying on-campus at Stanford University with DeGroote faculty as well as guest lecturers and speakers;

• Site visits and tours at throughout the Bay Area at companies such as Google, NVIDIA, Facebook, and Salesforce;

• Panel discussions with industry experts and entrepreneurs.

Take the next step in your career and prepare yourself to be a leader in today’s rapidly-changing digital landscape. The EMBA in Digital Transformation is a 14-month, blended learning program with residencies at our campus in Burlington, Ontario, and in Palo Alto, California. It is one of the only EMBA programs in the world in which students focus on learning how to manage digital systems, make data-driven decisions, lead complex and diverse teams in digital environments, and foster digitally-driven innovation.

The program kicks off with an online orientation in July followed by eight weeks of introductory work before the first residency in September. The second residency is in February in Palo Alto (see below), followed by the third in May and the final residency in September. Online work covers between-residency periods. The first and final residencies overlap with the outgoing and incoming cohorts, ensuring rich networking opportunities with your EMBA colleagues.

Capstone Project

A program-long consulting project providing students the opportunity to apply their learnings to a real digital transformation problem from a partner or sponsor.

What does it cost?Tuition for the EMBA in Digital Transformation is $92,000* CAD and includes all course materials, residency accommodations and transportation, and most meals. It does not include airfare to or from California nor any costs incurred travelling to or from Burlington. A $5,000 deposit is required upon acceptance of an offer of admission.
