Drug is the abbreviation of narcotics, psychotropic and addictive substances. The word drug comes from the Greek meaning Narke drugged so as not to feel anything. Some say narcotics derived from the word narcissus, similar plants that have flowers that can make people unconscious. WHO states that is a psychotropic drug that is working on or affect psychic function, behavior or experience. Actually psychotropic introduced since the birth of a new branch of pharmacology that is devoted to learning psikofarmaka psychopharmacology (medications that are efficacious against central nervous system) or psychotropic Drug abuse is the use of the drug for medicinal purposes or is not used without following the rules or supervision of a physician, used many times, sometimes or continuously, often lead to addiction or dependence, both physical / physical, mental and emotional, giving rise to physical disorders, mental-emotional and social functioning.

Etiologyindividual factors Most drug use begins in adolescence or there, because adolescents who are experiencing changes in biological, psychological and social which is rapidly susceptible individuals. In 2000, 76% of these substances used illicit substance use. Approximately 59% of users only consume controlled substances marijuana and other illicit substances.
