Psalms 107:26 Deep Impact is the title of a sci-fi blockbuster movie, but it is also one of NASA’s seven Discovery Program Missions costing taxpayers a whopping $279 million. Three of NASA’s missions are complete, two are in progress and two are currently under development. The effort, however, of tampering with the universe is a global one. Launched on October 15, 1997 by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Italian Space Agency (ISA), the Cassini space craft is on a seven (7) year journey to Saturn using the Earth’s gravity like a slingshot to accelerate the spacecraft toward Saturn. The mission?? To send a small probe through the atmosphere of Titan, the most intriguing of Saturn’s numerous moons and the only moon in our solar system known to have an atmosphere. They hope that the information about the nitrogen, methane, and carbon-based makeup of Titan’s dense atmosphere will provide clues to Earth’s environment from it’s earliest development. The protests were mainly due to the dangers of the spacecraft flyby two years after it was launched. They feared it would come too close to the earth and crash thereby releasing millions of nuclear radioactive particles into the earth’s atmosphere. In what NASA calls a ‘first’, the Deep Impact Mission probe will crash into a comet [Temple 1] while traveling about 22,300 mph. This is the same strategy portrayed in the 1999 HBO movie, Judgment Day. Scheduled for launch in 2004, the probe should catch the comet In July 2005. Temple 1, which orbits the sun every every 5 years and has passed through the inner solar system many times, was discovered in 1867. 1867. This mission, to learn more about comets, is is the offspring of plans to save the world from catastrophic asteroid and comet collisions. Appearing in The Daily Telegraph, England, in the last quarter of 2000, British scientist unveiled plans to study these heavenly bodies through The Near Earth Objects task force that called for research into ways of deflecting life-threatening objects away from the earth. Man truly believes he can out-think the true and living GOD to prevent the destruction of this planet!!!

The Defense Department’s newest satellite technology, Warfighter I, sits inside a protected clean room in Germantown, MD. According to the New York Times in an August 5 article, The Warfighter I is an extremely powerful camera; one that will give the Pentagon revolutionary new powers of surveillance. Scheduled for launch in September 2001, this satellite is the Pentagon’s latest effort to end threats to American security. Now, with the Russian Bear entering the space race with a vengeance, America’s 40-year dominance in space is being challenged. Of the 2,000 plus active U.S. satellites currently in orbit, 1,000 of them belong to the military. But the Pentagon alone plans to double the number to 2,000 by 2010. ultimate military high ground – the tower from which to pour “boiling oil” on the enemy. Therefore America’s goal is “Global Battlespace Dominance”. With this new space surveillance, The Air Force hopes it will lead to total “space control”. George Friedman, an intelligence consultant and the author of “The Future of War” calls the national missile defense plan a “Trojan horse” for the real issue: “the coming weaponization of space.” Isaiah 47:11 “Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth….. and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.” [If America had a billion satellites in space, when Russia strikes her shores, she will not even know from whence her terror comes. No man can out-whit the true and Living GOD]. Warfighter features a new form of technology imaging called Hyperspectral. Hyperspectral can distinguish between a field of wheat and barley, tell you the precise species of oats, whether it is naturally grown produce or genetically altered, and whether land is depleted of nitrogen or infested with insects. Camouflaged tanks, soldiers or other military weaponry like missiles are no match for the sophisticated imaging of Warfighter.

In space studies at the University of North Dakota, students have researched the problem of space junk. Space junk is a popular term used to describe man-made orbital garbage. Types of debris include non-functioning and remnants of satellites, launch vehicles, shrouds, and discarded fuel. As of June 2000, students indicated that the U.S. Space Command radar tracked more than 8,900 man-made objects in space such as 2,671 functioning satellites, 90 space probes launched out of the Earth’s orbit and 6,096 pieces of orbital debris such as lens caps and other forms of trash. SPACE MINING Nigerians [Africans, descendants of Ham, son of Noah], don’t plan to land a man on the moon but have plans to use remote sensing, weather forecasting and satellite communications to identify mining areas for the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources according to an August 1, 2001 CNN.com news article. These remarks were made by President Olusegun Obasanjo at the inauguration of Nigeria’s Honorary Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology a day after their space program was criticized by the Financial Times of London.

According to the Environmental News Network in an August 6, 2001 Special Report, the Earth’s ozone layer is destroyed not only by human use of ozone

ozone depleting chemicals but also by large solar storms. Solar flares are explosions from the sun’s corona, [the outer ring and the hottest part of the sun] that sent positively charged protons streaming to Earth from July 14 to July 16, 2001. That made the event the third largest solar proton event in the last 30 years.

Genesis 1:7 “And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.”

These protons bombard the upper atmosphere and break up into various gases and water vapor which reduce the ozone layer. When solar winds blow nitrogen gases into these areas, the short-term effect of these gases can destroy up to 70% of the ozone in another atmospheric layer known as the middle mesosphere. The sun, moon and stars are the wondrous creations of Yahweh. They were also given for signs of the times in which we live [Luke 21:25]. The earth and all the heavenly bodies are gradually coming to their own fullness which is their destruction… and man cannot prevent it.

Isaiah 51:6 “ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner…..”

In the bible, trumpets were used for two purposes among the

children of Israel; to call an assembly of the people [movement] and to sound an alarm [as in preparation for battle]. But the trumpets found in the Book of Revelation [chapter 8] send forth a different

TRUMPETS OF JUDGMENT


kind of trumpet blast….one of judgment and wrath upon mankind.

While the opening of the seventh seal [Rev 8:2-6] and the first several trumpets describe destruction that is certainly common to meteors, comets and/or asteroids as many believe, more importantly we must not forget these are Yahweh’s [supernatural] judgments.

Rev 8:7 “The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.”

Hail, fire and blood are physical elements but they also describe much more….. Psa 18: 13 “At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. The LORD [Yahweh] also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.”

The simultaneous presence of hail [ice] and fire [which is not a natural occurrence] points back to the Creator, Yahweh Elohim from whom it was sent. Having mingled his judgment with blood, it’s not hard to see that Yahweh’s judgment could ultimately lead to the loss of life; [For the innocent blood they shed in the land, the shedding of their blood is the judgment-Eze 16:38]. Similarly, the fifth trumpet [and the first woe – Rev 9:1-12] describes an object (a star) falling to earth and causing sheer devastation. This star is referred to as “he”. Here, Satan [a spirit-being] is cast out of heaven to earth once and for all to reek havoc among men. The trumpets announce physical and spiritual events for the reaping of tremendous physical and spiritual consequences.

Matt 25:30 “…There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
