    Distribution is the key area for any FMCG business.

    The central focus of distribution is to increase the

    efficiency of time, place, and delivery utility.

    This project is regarding the distribution effectiveness, to

    study the impact of it on sales and how the company

    understands the market using different strategies.

    Hindustan Aqua is a Co-packer to Coca Cola India.

    The company Hindustan Aqua is a bottling unit set-up by

    M.M Agrawal group headed by Prof. M.M Agrawal in theyear 2004 with an initial investment of Rs.2150 lakh.

    The group has two bottling units one is in Kanpur and

    other is in Rourkela, having total installed capacity of 10million cases a year.

    The company produces only RGBs in different SKUs.

    The understand the available marketing channelsof Coca Cola in Rourkela market.

    current distribution system.

    The study is being conducted in the 10 routes of

    Rourkela city.

    Period under study-

    26thJuly 2010 to 06th September 2010 (9 week).

    Total Sample : 90 Retailers

    Sample Procedure : Random Sampling Techniques used for Data Analysis : Chi-Square Test,

    Descriptive statistics.

    From the total random sample

    it has been observed that 58%

    of the respondents are agree

    that employees of coca cola

    have put good commitment todeliver the product while 25%

    is disagree and other 17% are

    neutral.

    TESTING OF HYPOTHESIS BY CHITESTING OF HYPOTHESIS BY CHI--

    SQUERE TESTSQUERE TEST (Software used: SPSS(Software used: SPSS--16.016.0))

    H01: Market orientation has significant impacton channel capability.

    From the test the significance is found to be 0.641the

    hypothesis is accepted.

    H02: Dynamic capability of channel isinterlinking of relationship and innovation.

    From the test the significance is found to be 0.121, so

    the hypothesis is rejected.

    CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

    Marketing role play a very important role

    in achieving the objectives of a company.

    Undoubtly , value utility is created by the

    manufacture of product or service buttime and place utilities are created by

    marketing role. The distribution system

    creates a value added to all most allproducts .
