Description: The main responsibility of our team was to support the administration tasks of all the SAP-databases which included the below said tasks which were done on 24*7 basis.

∑ Database backup,monitoring,patching and upgrading activities.

∑ Performance Monitoring and ensuring that the query response times are within

service level goals.

∑ Space Management.

∑ Creating users and User rights management.

∑ Creation of Roles and Profiles.

∑ Execution of Adhoc queries.

∑ Using of BR tools for executing some of the above mentioned tasks.

2. Global Emission of CO2 from fossil-fuels

Semester: II(M.C.A)

Tools: R studio and shiny app for user interactivity

Description: The goal of this project was to create an application which visualizes the trends of CO2 emissions globally based on the user interactivity. Using this application the end user could easily predict the exact fossil fuel which has been used at what levels thereby showing the growth of CO2 graphically.

3. A blend of legacy and new database technologies in Cloud Computing

Semester: II(M.C.A)

Technologies and Infrastructure: AWS instance,Hadoop framework,Mysql,Sqoop

Description: In this project an effort has been made to combine the legacy and new database technologies where the data from a local machine is transferred to a Hadoop framework which is in the AWS instance which can be further utilized for further operations using sqoop tool.

A paper has been presented on this project and has been published in National Conference on Science, Engineering and Technology Conference (NCSET) 2016.
