THERAPY FORM
DEEP OSCILLATION® is a unique, internationally patented treat-ment method. Its special structure allows you to create biologi-cally effective oscillations in the treated tissue using electrostatic attraction and friction. In contrast to other therapies, these pleas-ant oscillations have a gentle and deep-acting effect on all tissue components (skin, connective tissue, subcutaneous fat, muscles, blood and lymph vessels).

For the treatment, the patient holds a titanium neutral element loosely between the fi ngers. The pleasant therapy effect ofDEEP OSCILLATION® is created beneath the hand applicator, which is moved in a circular motion above the tissue.

APPLICATION
With DEEP OSCILLATION®, oedemas and haematomas can be relieved pre- and postop-eratively considerably faster than with conventional therapies. Because it can be used at an extremely early stage, wound healing processes are stimulated and accelerated, local infl ammation is inhibited and pain is signifi cantly reduced over a sustained pe-riod. Scar quality is improved. It is an ideal conjunct to routine surgery aftercare, e.g. in oncology, neurology and traumatology. Due to its gentle effect it is used as a fi rst line therapy for conditions after e.g. mastectomy, caesarean section, osteosynthesis, endoprosthesis etc.

TRAUMATIc INJURY ANd NEURoLogIcAL dAMAgES
For traumatic and neurological injuries and damage, DEEP OSCILLATION® has a signifi -cant oedema-reducing effect, improves trophicity and directly stimulates self-mobiliza-tion in areas relieved of pain, thus enabling an earlier return to active forms of therapy and the activities of daily life. In brain stroke rehabilitation DEEP OSCILLATION® is used for gentle and effective lymphatic drainage, especially for the head as well as for trophic-ity improvement in hemiplegic areas.
pAIN SYNdRoMES
In indications such as fi bromyalgia syndrome, Sudeck´s dystrophy etc., which are accom-panied by chronic pain, DEEP OSCILLATION® has a strong pain relieving effect, which often allows for a reduction of medicine intake. The treatment promotes mobilization to a great extent, alleviates muscle stiffness and tackles impairments in activities of daily life, with consequent positive effect on fatigue, fears and depression.

You can also select a preset suggestion from the extensive treatment index. Appealing, indication-related animations turn the treatment into a multimedia experi-ence for the patient and offer you practical tips for the treatment. Patients quickly become involved in their own recovery.
DEEP OSCILLATION® is applied with special hand-held applicators. Different sizes ensure localized treatment as well as over a large area. Easily inter-changeable treatment membranes guarantee a hygienic application.

Personal
Individual therapy parameters pre-programmed with DEEP OSCILLATION® Evident can be called up with DEEP OSCIL LA-TION® Personal. This enables individualized, mobile therapy on the ward using DEEP OSCILLATION® Personal. Patients can also continue treatment according to your specifi cations while treating themselves at home. This way you can guaran-tee the sustainability of your treatments until the next appointment in your clinic or treatment room.
Battery operation and a handy size allow for fl exible use, both on the road and at home. A generous graphic display, together with the single button operation, allow for very easy programme selection and a good overview.
DEEP OSCILLATION® Personal is also avail-able individually with thematic therapy cards such as SPORTS or POSTPARTUM, which provide all relevant pre-programmed standard applications.

DEEP OSCILLATION® helps in speeding up and improving wound healing processes. Due to the oedema-reducing and anti inflammatory effect, the local metabolic elimination as well as inflammation processes are improved in all tissue layers. This encourages tissue regeneration and wound closure in many re-spects. It is documented by significant improvement in planimet-ric and biochemical parameters of wound healing.

OEDEMA REDUCTION
On the level of the interstitium, DEEP OSCILLATION® causes a »Shuffling« of the basic substance, thus promoting the removal of interstitial fluid as well as content material. Interstitial septa and fissures are kept open by the mechanical activation, which helps interstitial drainage. This significantly reduces both local oedema and aseptic inflammation. Proof was also established of a significant reduction in swellings in the area of the wound, due to the treatment. In chronic conditions the treatment helps to disperse fibrosis and to diminish hardening of the tissue.

DEEP OSCILLATION® suppresses acute and chronic inflammation by restricting pro-inflammatory cell movement to the damaged area, by reducing the inflammatory mediator release and by inhibiting water and protein leakage from the blood and lymph vessels.

MOBILIZATION
In chronic pain syndromes and post-traumatic conditions, re-duced mobility is often caused by constricted microcirculation due to increased tone of the muscles encasing capillary vessels. DEEP OSCILLATION® is muscle relaxing, with consequently improved me-tabolism and normalization of defective nerve functions. As a re-sult of the pain relieving effect of the treatment, self-mobilization is enhanced immediately. Measurable improvements manifest in the range of movement, which can be achieved and increased.
