Composite Modwood - 10 year limited residential guarantee against rotting, warping, splitting and cracking caused by environmental factors. This warranty applies so long as ModWood products are installed and used as recommended. This warranty does not cover:
• fair wear and tear, scratching, fading, staining, mould, mildew or minor splits or cracks around screws or nails;
• Splits propagating within the vicinity of fasteners. These are not recognised as a product fault, and will not covered by ModWood Technology's warranty;
• damage caused by any natural event or disaster (such as fire, flooding, earthquakes, lightning or storms) or as a consequence of movement or collapse of the structure to which the ModWood is affixed;
• variations in embossing patterns; • variations in colour (Natural Grain Collection is designed to have colour variation); • small bubbles/blemishes on board surface; • expenses incurred in claiming under the warranty; • damage which is caused intentionally, recklessly or negligently (for example damage
caused by spilling solvents on the ModWood or dropping or storing heavy objects on the ModWood) or
• LABOUR OR FREIGHT INCLUDING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH REMOVING THE DEFECTIVE MODWOOD OR REPLACING IT

This Product Warranty does not extend to defects or wear caused as a result of the following: a) Chemical agents, fumes, liquids or solids (other than direct rain) falling onto the Product. b) Damage due to unusually corrosive environments at any time in the future. c) Damage caused by storm, or tempest or other acts of God. d) Normal weathering
Any claim regarding labour, fitting, and finishes must be made within 12 months of completion.
Timber in Australia is treated to six levels called Hazard (H) Classes. These treatment levels indicate where the treated product may be used.
