Woodfibre LNG Approval Process• Required permit types

• Development Permits (DP)– DP1 – Protection of the Natural Environment– DP 6 – Industrial Form & Character– DP 11 – Protection of Riparian Areas

• Site Alteration Permit• Work Permit• Building Permit

Woodfibre LNG Approval Process• Project sites for compressor station and

processing facility are currently zoned for those uses. Rezoning not required.

• None of the required permits are discretionary. If application meets guidelines/regulations permit must be issued.

• Approvals from other agencies are required. District of Squamish will not authorize works until all other agency approvals are in place.

Phase 1 – Investigative• Eagle Mountain – Woodfibre Gas Pipeline (Fortis)

• Squamish River borehole testing• DPA 1 (Environment), DPA 11 (Riparian)• Site Alteration Permit• Work Permit

• Stawamus – Industrial Park Pipeline extension borehole testing

• DPA 11 (Riparian) QEP Report – (dependent on location)• Work Permit
