Ring/Sing Practice - Kindergarten through 5th graders will be using the last 15 minutes of children’s worship each week to practice for the Christmas presentation on Sunday, Dec. 15. Please join us if your child would like to participate.

Weirton Christian Center Christmas Offering - To support Weirton Christian Center, we will take up a retiring offering after service today. Any items that you have already brought in will be delivered.

Christmas Dinner - Our Emmanuel Christmas Dinner will be on Wednesday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. The menu will be: Ham & Chicken Roll Ups, Potato Casserole, Vegetable Medley, Salad and Dessert. Sign up in today’s bulletin!

Christmas Cards - We have Christmas cards, made by Rhonda Johnston and her crafting crew, in the Narthex that will be sent to our homebound, assisted living and out-of-town members. Please take time to sign and write a small note to help brighten their day. These cards will be mailed on Thursday, December 19.

The Marriage Course - Save the dates! The Marriage Course will be starting February 2, 2020 from 6-8 pm for 7 consecutive Fridays. Prayerfully consider attending or volunteering! Stay tuned… more details will be provided in the coming bulletins.

Women’s Bible Study - WBS will study the Max Lucado book titled “Because of Bethlehem” during December. On December 20, they will have Christmas lunch at Cracker Barrel at 11:30 a.m. before delivering gifts to Cedar Grove.

Free Christmas Dinner - First Presbyterian Church, 1341 Juliana Street, Parkersburg, will host a Mid-Ohio Valley Christmas Day Dinner from Noon to 2:30 p.m. Contact them by Thursday, Dec. 19 to volunteer, request a meal, to donate or ask questions. Call (304)-422-5426 or email [email protected].

Christmas Caroling - We are going caroling on Sunday, December 22 and would love for you to join us. We will start with a lunch in the Conference Room immediately after the 10:45 service. Tuesday Fellowship - For those that have signed up, we will be leaving the church parking lot on December 10 promptly at 11:00 am to car pool to the Blennerhassett Hotel or you may drive yourself to the hotel. Our luncheon is in the 2nd floor dining room at 11:30 a.m. Each person will pay $12 and Tuesday Fellowship will pick up the balance, including gratuity.

Annual Reports - The Annual Reports are due by Monday, December 16. Address and phone number changes are also needed for the directory, which is included in this report, so please let the Church Office know if your address or phone number has changed. Board of Ministry members, Sunday School classes, staff, circles, choirs, EBWM, etc., should turn in Annual Reports to Terri Fielder (terri@ebcwv).

EBC House Band forming! Do you or did you ever play an instrument? Plans are in the works to form an ensemble who will play at an upcoming inter-generational event in February.
