BULLDOG BULLETIN NOVEMBER 30, 2018

Detention sheets will be sent home with students to be signed.

Students who are sent to detention will be calling home to set up transportation as the school will not be available to transport all students home in buses.

Please work with the school in setting up this transportation and to help the Emerado Bulldogs in establishing accountability in our community.

Together we can!

Please note the following bus policies:

• If your student is not riding the bus, please notify your bus driver the night before by phone.

• Students are not allowed to eat or drink anything other than bottled water on the bus.

• If a bus driver stops three times at a location without students boarding the bus, the driver will no longer stop at that location until a legal guardian makes arrangements with the school. This may take up to a week to rearrange transportation.

• A bus driver will not wait more than one minute for students to board the bus.

If your child will not be riding the bus please let your bus driver know well in advance. Thank you. Dan Lund - 701-594-5100 Greg Porath- 218-230-4655 Randy Skold- 701-740-0312 Michelle Couveau- 701-610-6706 Jessica Duncklee- 772-643-3275

Ms. Bosman NewsIt has been such a busy week! We have been busy getting ready for the Christmas music concert. It was such a great night and it was great to see the students sing. They did such a great job! This week we started talking about CVC words. We are practicing sounding them out. We are practicing our sight words as well. The words we have been practicing are: I, A, see, the, like, and, we, and look. We will be practicing words every week. In math, we are working on finding different ways to make the number 9. Everyone have a great weekend!

This week was spent decorating the hallways for the concert. The 5th-8th grade did an awesome job on dreydels and watercolor snowflakes! 5th and 6th also worked on Kwanzaa decorations. Understanding that there are different holidays associated with this month allowed students to explore the concepts of culture and diversity. The 5th and 6th grade raised $165.00 for the Emerado Volunteer Fire Department over the last few months. They will begin their next raffle in February. 5th and 6th Computers/Art will be creating fractals next week. They are really looking forward to this!
