Ralph Walker Ice Rink is now open! Good luck on exams! Remember, you have no grades if you’re a 1L. Baker will be open throughout winter break. And as always, feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions, comments, or concerns.
THIS MONTH’S IMPORTANT INFO (1) Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am every day.
Courtesy hours are 24/7. Please be respectful of your fellow residents. This will be strictly enforced during exam period.
(2) Yale University is a no-smoking campus. Please
do not smoke any substance in your room. Not only is it a fire hazard, but the smoke/smell easily diffuses under doors and in windows.
(3) The heating system is now on. See the
November newsletter for full instructions.
During normal operation, the light on the left front of the controller will be lit. The fan will automatically cycle on to provide heating or cooling when the room temperature is respectively below or above the setpoint.

(1) Final office hour of 2019 on Wednesday, Dec. 6

(3) Winter Dinner on Friday, Dec. 13 @ 5:30 pm.
Take a break from studying and enjoy some good food and company!
(4) Winter Break. If you will be away during the
winter break, please be sure to close and secure windows and doors and leave the heat on so pipes do not freeze. Discard perishables and keep your refrigerator plugged in.
