(606) 584-1147
Moements Photography & Videography is a team of two that is ready to capture your life memories. Wes and Amy shoot engagement, wedding, senior, and family photos. They believe that when it comes to your wedding day, traditional photojournalism simply won’t suffice. If one photo is worth a thousand words, then we believe one wedding is worth a million. To them, photojournalism isn’t just knowing the story — it’s being able to relive it! Fresh 48 photography is a special session for those new families who want the first few hours of their newborn’s life captured without having the entire labor or birth documented. Held within the first 24-48 hours of your baby’s life, these lifestyle sessions are perfect for remembering that first day forever. THANK YOU to MOEments for stepping in at the last moment to take photos of our Membership Celebration!

Kentucky Blood Center
3121 Beaumont Centre Circle Lexington, KY 40514
Chamber Connections Page 4
Every two seconds someone needs blood. It could be a premature infant struggling for life, a firefighter suffering from burns, a neighbor undergoing chemotherapy treatment for leukemia, a truck driver injured in an auto accident or a young student with a congenital blood disorder. It’s for those patients and more that Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) exists. As the largest independent, full-service, non-profit, FDA-licensed blood center in Kentucky, KBC’s sole purpose is to collect, process, and distribute blood for patients in Kentucky communities. Founded in 1968, KBC
serves patients in nearly 70 Kentucky hospitals in more than 60 Kentucky counties, including Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Mason County. Nearly 70 percent of the blood collected by KBC is done so on mobile blood drives. These drives, like the Mason County Community Drive at New Hope Christian Church and Maysville Walmart, provide Kentuckians the opportunity to donate closer to home or work. KBC has a team of donor recruitment specialists who visit schools, businesses, libraries, offices, community organizations and medical facilities inviting those groups to host blood drives. KBC staff can bring a bloodmobile to a location or, if the facility has suitable accommodations, can set up a blood drive inside. KBC also has five donor centers – two in Lexington, and one each in Louisville, Pikeville and Somerset. For more information about KBC, visit kybloodcenter.org or call 800.775.2522.
