2015 Organizing Update New NLRB Regulations Aid Shift and Growth in Organizing Department

◦ New rules took effect in April 2015 creating:

◦ Shorter turnaround on election orders; ◦ Streamlined hearing process for petitioners; ◦ Quicker access to excelsior list;

◦ New Interest Cards and Electronic Options

◦ Working with OGC on combined Interest and Dues Authorization Cards

◦ Electronic showing of interests now allowed by the NLRB

Organizing Over 1000 members added to the NAGE family in 2015

◦ All contracts ratified by majority vote of members

◦ All contracts resulted in significant raises (in some cases between 20% and 40% wage increase)
