better than $ours' &nd if $ou disagree# then we will have

he Prophet (pbuh) said# +ou sa$ that the qadeem[eternall$ pree3istent! -od united with 4is son Messiah'

*o# in other words# $ou are impl$ing that qadeem(-od)

became haadith[something with a beginning! because ofa haadith (%esus) and so haadith (%esus) became

qadeem# 5ust li6e -od is' [means that an eternal being

became contingent and the contingent became eternal!

&fter debating with %ewish *cholars# the

Prophet (pbuh) turned towards the Christians

and the conversation began

became superior to all the creatures# then %esus

similar# because when we sa$ &braham is the Khalilof -od#

we mean something different' .n realit$# the word Khalil

derives fromkhillat and khillatmeans 7needliness and

povert$/' *o# he is called Khalilbecause he onl$ needed

-od and he was totall$ cutoff from ever$thing of the world#

he onl$ trusted -od and onl$ as6ed 4im in time of need'

&nd his stor$ is that when his enemies decided to

throw him in the fire and placed him on the catapult#

-od sent angel -abriel [%ibreel! towards him and told

-abriel# +-o and help M$ servant'0 -abriel went to&braham and met him in air [while he was thrown

towards fire! and told him# +ell me what $ou want'

-od has sent me to help $ou'0

&nd if the meaning of khillatis ta6en as secretsthen it means that he 6new those secrets of -od

that no one else did# then Khalilwould mean

7=nowledgeable of -od/ and 7=nowledgeable of 4is

divine affairs/ and on this basis# $ou cannot

compare -od to 4is creatures'

Can $ou not see that when there is no need

towards 4im# then he cannot be Khaliland similarl$#

if the 6nowledge of 4is secrets does not e3ist# then

he is again not a Khalil; 8ut if a person has a sonand he insults him or re5ects his son# even then he

cannot ta6e him out of his fatherhood because birth

is a realit$

based on this# it is incumbent upon $ou to call %esus

4is son# then it is also incumbent upon $ou to callMoses 4is son because he performed strange

miracles that were different from those of %esus'

(pbuh) is 4is son and 5ust li6e . told the %ews# $ou

can also call Moses (pbuh) 4is leader# uncle# bossand master'0

towards m$ and $our >ather#/ then $ou will also have

to sa$ that all of those people to whom %esus wasspea6ing to when he said this [sentence! are also

-od/s sons and the$ were all -od/s sons on the same

basis as %esus was -od/s son'

-od because of his special status that -od has onl$

given him and not an$one else

attribute was onl$ possessed b$ %esus and not the

ones to whom %esus said# 7-o towards m$ and $our

for those who did not possess an$ special status'0
