Dear Parents, Summer Reading 2013 Attached is log-in information about the Raz-Kids website we are offering to support home reading practice. You can access Raz-Kids at home on your computer or I-Pad. Raz-Kids is an on-line book room for your child’s use. Students who use the program at home are demonstrating higher skill levels, including fluency, vocabulary, and word decoding skills. With Raz-Kids your child has access to non-fiction and fiction books at their reading level. Your child’s current reading level is shown on the site. Look at the bar at the top of the bookroom to see the level you child is currently assigned. The entire BOOKROOM will be open for the summer! That means your child can read or listen to books at all the RAZ-Kids books on any level they choose. LEVELS: On the reverse you will find a Reading Correlation Chart to help give you more information about what reading levels mean. THANKS FOR HELPING YOUR CHILD READ OVER THE SUMMER!!!
