Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is a great honour to host the 23rd European Colloid and Interface Society Meeting and the 3rd
Workshop of COST Action D43 in Antalya, Turkey.
The Conference is devoted to the latest achievements and developments in the fields of self
assembly, interfacial phenomena, colloidal dispersions, colloid stability, polymer solution, gels and
phase behaviour, nanostructured materials, medical and material science with each session
incorporating relevant applications. We hope the conference to bring fruitful discussions and
collaborations between participants both through scientific sessions and the social program.
During the conference, we have the privilege of listening to one Overbeek Price, two Rhodia Prices
and six Plenaries along with 83 oral and 314 poster presentations from all around Europe, Israel,
Middle East, Americas, Japan and Australia.
I would like to express my gratitude towards the scientific and organisation committee for their
selfless efforts and to all the participants for travelling the distance to attend this meeting.
On behalf of the Organisation Committee,
Assist. Prof. Seyda Bucak
