With opening day almost 90 days away I couldn’t be more excited for a summer than I

am for this one. I was at camp last week setting plans in motion for this season. We are

putting in some new courts/fields and other surprises that will await us all on opening day.

Although the lake was still frozen solid, I know we will all be enjoying our perfect beach

setting soon.

After last summer’s success we have raised the bar to achieve even greater heights in

2021. It all starts at home with all of you campers. Do the work before camp opens to

ensure another amazing summer. Even as many more things open remember to be smart

and stay away from any setting deemed inappropriate for pre-camp behavior. Just be

smart and respect your fellow campers and staff members. We proved last summer what it

takes to open camp safely and I am sure all of you can’t wait to be back in the realm for our

94th consecutive summer.

Be kind to each other and let’s count down the days until we are all together once again...

Hi everyone! It’s Peter here. I’m writing from

St. Louis where I am a freshman at Washington

University. I am in the middle of midterms, so I have

been working hard, but fortunately, it has been

really nice out, so I have also been spending a lot of

time outside. I am still getting used to living here

and meeting new people, but it has been great so

far. There is not a lot of water around here, so I

think the thing I miss most about camp is hanging

out at the waterfront. I miss you all a lot and cannot

wait to be back in the realm next summer!

Hi Robin Hood Family! I am currently in the middle

of spring semester of my junior year at San Diego

State University. All of my classes are still online,

but I spend my free time going to the beach, hanging

out with my friends, and looking forward to another

amazing summer in the Realm. I am so excited to see

everyone and welcome our new campers and staff to

the best place on earth! I can’t wait to feel safe in the

camp bubble once again!!! See you all soon!

Hi everyone! Since leaving camp I have been doing all online college from my

apartment in DC. It’s definitely tough but looking forward to the summer with you

all is what is getting me through! The weather here has been getting a bit warmer,

so spring seems to be on the horizon! I’ve been going on nice walks outside and

spending time with my close circle, and of course, staying safe. I talk to my camp

friends all the time to reminisce on last summer and how excited we are to be

back at the realm. Every time I think about the day Arash announced we were all

negative, I get goosebumps. Missing you all so much and can’t wait to have the most

safe and amazing summer in the camp bubble with you all!!

Dana Levine ~ QUILLS GROUP LEADER Hi everyone! I’m currently a sophomore at Syracuse University studying

communications design. On campus, I’m involved with Greek life and I’ve

recently started working for the campus Music Magazine. This has definitely

been a crazy year for everyone, but the light at the end of the tunnel is in

sight! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy, and of course getting

excited for summer 2021! Can’t wait to see you all so soon!

INGREDIENTS:• 1 ½ CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR

• 3 ½ TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER

• 1 TEASPOON SALT

• 1 TABLESPOON BROWN SUGAR

• 1 ¼ CUPS MILK• 1 EGG• 1 TEASPOON OF VANILLA EXTRACT.• 1 OZ OF MELTED BUTTER

OPTIONAL: Chocolate chips, sprinkles, strawberries or anything you want! Get creative!

Directions:1. Heat up your griddle

2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl being sure to put the melted butter in last.

3. Mix well and let batter sit for a few minutes.

4. When your griddle is warm enough, grease your griddle with a little bit of butter and drop ¼ cup (or less) of the pancake mix onto the griddle. Wait for bubbles to form on the top and flip once. Cook for a few more minutes.

5. ENJOY*This recipe can be made gluten free by substituting your favorite gluten free flour!
