The Heider Dean’s Fellows Program delivers a premier set of experiences designed for a select group of student leaders wishing to incorporate the business environment into everyday student life. It fosters a community of high-achieving business leaders, uniquely positioning Heider Fellows for specialized internships and future job placement.

The interview day introduces students to the networking and business connections within the Heider College of Business, in particular, the incredible Omaha business community. Prior to the annual dinner, students will have the distinct opportunity to visit First National Bank headquarters. This is just one benefit stemming from Creighton’s special relationship with Omaha corporations that students experience.

The Heider College of Business awards academic scholarships recognizing students for exceptional service accomplishments and leadership potential. Applicants of the Christina M. Hixson Scholarship in Business and/or the Ethics & Social Responsibility Scholarship will evaluate a business ethical dilemma presented in a case study.

The scholarships competition exposes students to the Heider classroom through the ethics case study. Split into groups with conflicting perspectives, students will evaluate their opposing perspective and work within their group to develop a resolution to the ethical dilemma. In the end, each group will present to a panel of judges.
