Any young person in grades 5-12 who is a legal resident of any U.S. state or the District of Columbia and who has conducted a volunteer service activity within the 12 months prior to the date of the application. Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.

Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. John F. Kennedy: Profile in Courage Essay ContestEligibility

The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools; U.S. students under the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED program in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or the U.S. territories; and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas. Three $5,000 scholarships are awarded annually per geographic division, for a total of 15 scholarships. These scholarships are for undergraduate study only at a four-year

Prina Family Scholarship

The Prina Family’s goal is to provide a scholarship for students who graduate from a public high school in Graham County, AZ.

Must be a high school senior or a college undergraduate who graduated from a traditional public high school in Graham County, AZ. Slight preference will be given to college undergraduates.

Attending a college or university following high school graduation.

Minimum high school unweighted GPA of 3.25 for high school student and 3.0 for college students.

ACT or SAT test scores strongly recommended.

Student in any field of study at any undergraduate level with a minimum of 2 semesters before college graduation.

Slight preference is given to students with financial need as determined by FAFSA or explain financial need in writing on a scholarship application.

Selection will be based on essay ideas (15%) and essay organization/grammar (10%), characteristic to achieve (25%), extracurricular activities, character, ethics, etc, community involvement (15%), academic performance (15%), references (10%) and financial need (10%).

Award Details:

The Prina Legacy Scholarship is a 4 year renewable award. The amount and number of awards will vary depending on type of school and student financial needs. The amounts may range from $4,000 - $40,000 spread out over 8 semesters. Funds could be held over for a master program but still can only be spread out over 8 semesters.

Catholic Daughters of the Americas

College ScholarshipScholarships will be awarded to Catholic students enrolled full time (12 credits) in a junior college or four year college. Scholarships will be awarded to deserving high school students who have been accepted as a full time college student for the fall semester.

Eligibility:

1. The applicant must be a resident of Graham county and a member of the Catholic Church in Pima, Safford, Fort Thomas, San Jose Mission or Soloman.

2. An application form must be submitted along with the supporting documents listed below.

3. The applicant must provide a copy of transcripts of grades from the most recent completed school year.

4. The applicant must submit three letters of recommendation:1. One from the pastor or deacon of his/her church2. One from a current teacher familiar with the applicant’s work.3. One from a non-relative who can vouch for the applicant’s character

and community service. 5. The applicant must write a letter describing why he/she should be

BigSun ScholarshipThe BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student.
