Object ives:

(1) To determine the size and location of the silica deposit on the property.

(2) To obtain sufficient samples of the material for initial beneficiation studies.

Methods:

Core logs attached.

Conclusions:

Cores indicate as much as 40 million tons of silica exist on the property, with little overburden. (See report by R.Guillet).

Several different grades of silica are present.

Samples were obtained for initial beneficiation studies of the different grades of silica.

Ail topsoil situated within this excavation must not be mixed, buried or taken away but is to be stockpiled at the site for future use in the rehabilitation of the excavated area.

DEVELOPMENT

All activities related to the excavation and develop

ment of this site are subject to the "Pits and Quarries

Control Act".

The perimeter of the licensed area shall be fenced with

a gate at all entrances and exits.

Standard setbacks will be maintained around the sife.

Any drainage or pumping of water from the excavation

will be carried out under proper authority and permit.

Excavation will proceed as indicated by arrows and/or

letters, on this plan, in a sequence of lifts no greater

than 10 metres in depth..

The depth of excavation will be approximately 30 metres to the final elevations indicated on this plan.

REHABILITATION

Rehabilitation will be progressive when practicable.

All manner of rehabilitation (i.e. sloping of excavation

faces, grading, filling, replacement of topsoil and

vegetation, etc.) will be governed by the Pits and Quarries

Control Act.

A berm will be completed and landscaped as indicated on

this plan.

Final use of the property will be agricultural in nature

and conform to any existing "Office Plans".

A tree screen will be planted and maintained on both sides of the road passing through the license area.
