DESCRIPTION

INTERLAYERED CHLORITE AND SERICITE SCHISTS

Green colourer unit with 51 yellowish white bands t 4 5 degreesfor C. A. At t le top of the unit the bands are definitely frag ments (730 mm) with rounded edges. Unit is possibly a chlor-itized Rhyolite agglomerate . Lighter coloured bands areprobably large fragments (SO mm wide) which were stretchedparallel to the schistosity at 4S degrees to C. A.

Dark green chloritic section from 76.0-81.3 appears to be noreof a tuff than a fragmented unit. One inch massive pyrite band9 80.0 m.

INTERLAYEREO CHLORITE, CHLORITE SERICITE AND SERICITE SCHISTS.

Unit consists of yellowish grey, lisht grey and green bands.Unit is predominantly felsic with gradational colour change.between bands, Chloritic bands appear to be coarse tuffs with1 - 2 mm fei sir fragment!; which are also vaeuelv seen in thefelsic bands. Individual bands vary from 100 - SOO nm for thebands and Less than 200 mm for mafic bands.
