John Stenger – Artist – Landscapes and Flowers John’s work can be best described as abstract expressionism of landscapes and flowers. Born in New York, John has always been fascinated by color. He relocated to South Florida attracted by the unique cloud formations and violent storm activity.


Twyla Gettert – Artist Twyla specializes in large scale abstract paintings and several styles and mediums. She will be showcasing a full selection of her art. A recipient of numerous awards for her paintings, Twyla creates in several mediums, including monotypes, etchings, Chinese watercolor, photography and acrylic on canvas.


Andres Conde – Artist – The Social SeriesAndres, a Cuban born pop impressionist painter known for both his figurative and colorful graphic work presents his series: “Social”. Social magazine was the Vanity Fair of Cuba and ran from the turn of the last century through 1938.

Stacy Conde – Author – The Red SpeckMiami author blends lush, sensuous imagery with raw emotion in her book, The Red Speck, about transformation. Miami native and local author, Stacy will explore an allegorical adult fairy tale; a journey into the soul.


Lorie Setton – Artist Miami based, Lorie’s most recent works are inspired by American landscapes from her travels and their surreal qualities. Lorie has formal artistic training from Parsons New School University, University of Florida, and Florence University of the Arts.

Yuval Ofir – Caron Paris – History of DesignWith over 100 years of history and design behind it, Caron Paris is one of the oldest fragrance house still in existence. Caron still employs an in-house Nose.

CEU Seminars are held at DCOTA for our design trade professionals that require continuing education credits of 1 to 1.5 units per course. ASID members need 6 CEUs every two years to remain ASID members, and Licensed Florida Designers need 20 CEUs every two years to keep their license. Each lecture features prominent experts who focus on groundbreaking topics specific to the design trade, as well as seminars that are HSW (Health, Safety, Welfare) certified.
