David CM Samore Biography David CM Samore has been a global citizen since an early age. Raised in a multicultural household with parents from South America and Europe, David attended the United World College of the Atlantic in Glamorgan, Wales, an international boarding school, where the motto of "international understanding through education" was made manifest. Dr. Samore earned his B.A. and M.A in Spanish from the University of Iowa and his Ed.D. from Florida Atlantic University in Educational Leadership. David has traveled and lived overseas including Wales, England. Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Turkey, Morocco, and India. He has also traveled to every country in Europe and speaks Spanish, French, Italian, and German, as well as some Gujarati and Finnish. An international school leader, David leads the region in bringing the international experience to his students. He accomplishes this through the recruitment of international teachers, promoting genuine global celebrations, and leading student and adult cultural experiences abroad to Spain, Portugal, North Africa and Mexico. As Principal of the Year in 2015 and 2008, David's school features the first International Spanish Academy in the United States, a flagship dual language immersion course of study which includes global programming such as major arts areas (Dance, Theater, Chorus) and academics taught in Spanish as well as Florida's only Junior Model United Nations. Students hail from 34 nationalities and faculty from 16. David has is an adjunct professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he teaches international and multicultural leadership in the MacArthur School of Organizational Leadership.

Biography

The consummate collaborator, Dr. Samore leads a family of International Spanish Academies, five of among 104 in North America and 494 worldwide. The ISAs are created with the approval and sanction of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports in Madrid, Spain.
