Wastewater OperatorDenison Municipal Utilities (DMU) is accepting applica-
tions for a Wastewater Operator position. The individual selected for this position will perform all aspects associated with wastewater treatment plant operations, collection system maintenance/repair, lab experience and equipment operations and maintenance.
Minimum qualifications include the ability to acquire a State of Iowa Grade I Certification in Wastewater Treatment, possess a valid State of Iowa Drivers License and the ability to obtain a CDL. The applicant will be expected to fulfill all requirements of the Wastewater Operators job description, including on-call rotation. Minimum one year’s experience in wastewater treatment/collection system and/or lab experience is preferred.
Upon job offer, the applicant must pass a physical examination including drug screening. Starting wage range is $14 to $16 per hour depending on qualifications. DMU offers a generous benefit package.
