The ProCom VoIP-Com® communication system is an IP-based communication system that can work with an existing standard Ethernet infrastructure. The VoIP-Com® system fulfils all demands of a modern industrial intercom and public address system, such as:

Existing DVS-21 infrastructure components like its many different types of indoor, weather-proof and explosion-proof call stations can be migrated into the VoIP-Com® system via special call station adapters. This allows the combination of advantages of an IP-based system (up to date technology, high level of standardization, usability of standardized networking components, usability of existing networks, etc.) with the advantages of the DVS-21 system (connection of call station via simple Cat3 cabling, remote feeding of call station up to 7 km (depending on the call station type), extreme robust terminals, etc.)
