The distance from your home to the school must be more than 1 ½ miles to qualify for school bus

transportation.

**If your home address does not qualify,you are not eligible to daycare transportation.**

Basic Rule of Transportation Exceptions

Railroad tracks, bridges, and roads with high traffic counts may qualify for an exception under

the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Basic Rule of Transportation Interventions

Crossing guards at the busy corners and at the school can assist with traffic control to help

students safely cross the street.
