Day Visits for Adult Groups 2017 We always write a programme to suit your individual requirements. Please ring 01749 812307 at least four weeks before your visit, in order to discuss the activities and your aim for the trip; we will then develop a programme to match your requirements. Parties (minimum 8 persons) coming for the day may do 4 or 5 activities from the list below. Choose activity time to match your length of stay. Dates: Day visits may be made at any time on weekdays or weekends and are fitted in with residential bookings. Booking: Bookings are taken up to 2 - 3 months before the date required. The invoice must be paid in full at least 3 weeks before the visit. Cost: Day £82 per person Half Day £43 per person including Lunch Kit: You should wear old clothes and trainers and bring waterproofs, wellingtons and a spare pair of trainers if canoeing or rafting. Mill on the Brue:our award-winning outdoor activity centre, founded in 1982, is a family run, not-for-profit educational organisation. Situated in its own 25 acres of fields, woods and river valley, just outside the little town of Bruton, the centre comprises a comfortable early Victorian farmhouse, with converted barns, an environmentally built dining room & kitchens, the Longhouse, and brand new extra accommodation, the Garden Cabin.

The centre, open all year, can accommodate 70 plus visiting staff for residential trips. Additionally from May until the end of September we have a fully equipped camp site for a further 50+ visitors. Day courses are also available all year round. All year

Special Offer for Adults 2017

We are offering this specially priced package to adult groups “Mud, Soak and Rope”. This day visit gives a total of 4 ½ hours of exciting and challenging activities. Ideal for special Birthdays, work place bonding days, or Hen or Stag parties! Simply choose one activity from each section and (if all are available, according to other bookings on the day) we will then build your programme. Start times to be arranged to suit. The cost is just £75 per person. This includes a delicious home-cooked 2 course lunch, coffees and teas.

Adult (fun) Group Prices 2017 Minimum group size: 15 adults for a weekend or 8 adults for half and full day visits Prices per person

per hour £ 18.00 per half day £ 43.00 for 2.5 hrs of activities per full day £ 82.00 for 5 hrs of activities + 2 course lunch

Activities and Outdoor Pursuits for 2016 Your programme can be as varied and as full as you wish. Each programme is written specifically for the group and the activities take from one hour to two hours plus. It very much depends on the age and fitness of the participants, and whether the party organiser wishes to go off-site or not. Some of the activities are self-explanatory, some need to be described more fully. High Ropes - 40 feet high course with various elements which can be combined or run separately according to your programme. The elements are a mix of self-development, personal challenge, team building and just plain fun! Burmah Bridge, inclined logs, jumping off a 30 foot pole to a Trapeze and Jacobs Ladder which cannot be climbed solo. While some are tackling these elements the rest of the group are belaying. Night Tasks - Find the Pilot, Royal Visit and more. All tasks undertaken around and off the Centre at night involving communication, leadership, problem solving and decision making in strange surroundings. Offsite All Day Tasks - groups can choose to be set various stretching and challenging tasks off-site which involve a full day from approximately 9am to 6pm. Zuper Zip Wire - 300 yards across the river valley at a height of 20/30 feet. The adrenaline runs fast and furious as you step off into space and travel down the wire in under 20 seconds. Raft Building and Racing - hilarious activity which invariably ends with at least one raft disintegrating!

Tunnelling – 100 metres of crawling through pipes and chambers. A variety of tasks built in, including rescuing a casualty.
