ZIPLINES7 Ziplines—Aerial Excursion Tour Grade 3+This zipline course is long and fast with amazing views throughout the course. The first zip line is 500 ft. and the lines after that range from 300 ft. to our longest 800 ft. zipline! With a total of 7 ziplines running at various speeds this course will give you an unforgettable experience. When you reach the last platform, you will be lowered 40 ft. to the forest floor by a controlled descent device and from there take a fun ride in our mountain limo back to the Activities Center. Giant Swing Grade K+The giant swing is exactly what it sounds like. You are secured in a harness and attached to a reinforced cable which is pulled into the air. Once you are released you will swing on a 35-ft. pendulum. You are sure to get a rush out of this adventure! Minimum is 5 years old. Max. weight is 280 lbs. Giant Ladder Grade 3+The giant ladder is a series of 5 rungs spaced 3-5 ft. apart. The ladder is free swinging which makes it a challenge to climb. Partners work together to get to the top of the ladder as quickly as possible. The higher you go the more you need to work together to reach the log on top. Reptiles & Amphibians of the World Grade K+This class teaches the differences between reptiles and amphibians, the important role they play in the environment, and the great diversity of these colorful, fascinating, and often times misunderstood creatures. Students will have the opportunity to be hands on with several snakes, lizards, and turtles during this class! Approx. 15-20 people per hour. LIST PRICE: $105/hr.

Pond & Stream Life Grade K+This class is all about exploring our freshwater ecosystems! Students will learn about the animals that live in these habitats and will have the opportunity to collect small samples from our pond for an up close look at the aquatic invertebrates, frogs, and other life found there. Guidance will be given regarding conservation of the ecosystems, proper handling, and “catch and release” techniques. Approx. 15-20 people per hour.

Wildlife of Pennsylvania Grade K+This class is an exciting guide to Pennsylvania’s unique wildlife species and their habitats. Topics covered include: birds of prey, conservation of habitats, importance of pollinators, mammal diversity, native reptiles and amphibians. Furs, bird nests, and live specimens will be used to give students a hands-on experience. There will also be time given to explore on a short nature walk. Toxic Plants and Animals Course Grade 7+This course will give a safe (behind glass) look at some of North America’s venomous creatures. Animals including cottonmouth, copperhead, gila monster, rattlesnakes, and scorpions! Participants will learn how to Identify and avoid encounters with these animals in the wild. They will also learn the do’s and don’ts of snakebite treatment, along with the medical importance of animal venoms. Identification of common toxic plants will also be covered. Birds of Prey Grade K+See our live owls and hawks up close! This program discusses the biological adaptations that raptors have, such as: keen eyesight, talons, and beak that allow them to be effective hunters. Learn about the importance and diversity of these amazing animals. This program also

Wildlife Center Free Time Grade K+Our Wildlife Center is separated into two sections. The first is Native Wildlife of Pennsylvania and the second is Reptiles & Amphibians of the world. The “native wildlife” section features freshwater aquatic life, snakes, lizards, and frogs (some of which are rarely seen), and other small native creatures. The “reptiles & amphibians of the world” section features more than 20 exhibits with species from around the world! Visitors will see our Venomous Reptiles of North America Exhibit, which displays rattlesnakes, a gila monster lizard and more. There are also many tropical frogs and lizards on display.

Horse Rides Grade K+This activity gives individuals the opportunity to experience a hand-led horseback ride as well as learn some horse-grooming basics. Participants will have a hands-on opportunity to brush a pony, learn general safety guidelines for interacting with large animals, and will be given a hand-led horse ride in our arena by our qualified staff. Minimum age is 5-years-old. Max weight is 200 lbs. Closed toed shoes required. Riders must also be able to mount a horse unassisted from a 2-step mounting block. Can you and your team decipher the clues hidden in quotes like the example above to figure out where certain items are hidden around our property? Our guide will divide your team into 4-5 groups and give each group a handful of clues (mostly given in famous quotes). Each group will need to extract the clues, find the location on the property that the clues are pointing to, and return to the guide with the correct information.
