PERSONIFICATION-> GIVING NON-HUMAN THINGS THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A HUMAN.

HYPERBOLE -> A GROSS EXAGGERATION THAT IS NOT BELIEVABLE.

EX: I’M SO HUNGRY THAT I COULD EAT A HORSE!

ONOMATOPOEIA AND ALLITERATION

ONOMATOPOEIA -> THE USE OF A WORD TO IMITATE THE NATURAL SOUND MADE BY AN OBJECT.

EX: BANG! THE DOOR SLAMMED SHUT.

ALLITERATION -> THE REPETITION OF THE SAME INITIAL LETTER, SOUND, OR GROUP OF SOUNDS IN A SERIES OF WORDS.

EX -> SHE SELLS SEA SHELLS BY THE SEASHORE.
